The latest elusive target is live in HITMAN, including in the Linux version

I'm so hyped to get home from work and try my first elusive target. I've been loving HITMAN, I've completed 3 of the story missions so far, though I only managed to silent assassin one of them. I expect to fail the elusive target mission miserably, but I will do my best. :D

Valve have announced 'Steam Audio' an SDK of advanced audio tools, it will support Linux

I doubt this will create lock in. It will probably be a check box in options menus that will be greyed out if you're not on Steam, much like Dolby Surround or EAX have been for years.

The MMO 'Albion Online' finally has a release date, new huge update in March

Quoting: KohriasI hope PVE will be strenghthened further...
Same here. I was initially completely uninterested in Albion because of the focus on PVP, but since more PVE elements seem to be getting added my interest has risen a bit.

The 1700X is looking real tempting. I can't wait for independent benchmarks.

How to record videos on Linux using OBS Studio with separate audio tracks for gameplay and microphone

You don't necessarily need Avidemux to split the audio track from the video, Audacity will do that as well. What I usually do is use Audacity to split the audio from the video file, add the mic track, clean it up a bit (noise reduction and such), merge the tracks together in Audacity, then merge the video file and the newly created audio track ising mkvtoolnix, since I have no need to reencode the video.

Are the devs porting this themseles? As much as I love porters and porting houses such as Ethan Lee, Feral, and Aspyr, and I do, it's great when the game devs take the time to learn developing for Linux themselves :D

Brian Fargo confirms Torment: Tides of Numenera will launch for Linux day-1

Quoting: EikeWhere am I supposed to take all the time to play Tides of Numenera, Wasteland 3, Divnity Original Sin 2, Bard's Tale IV and Pillars of Eternity 2?!?
Well, to begin with, they're not all coming out at the same time, you should have plenty of time to finish TToN before the other games come out. Second, D:OS2 has not been confirmed for Linux. Even if it does come to Linux, given how long it took the first game to make its way over to the penguin, you may be waiting a few years.

Project Cars 2 now has a trailer, with no mention of their promised Linux/SteamOS support

I gave up on anything from these folks a long time ago. Neither the promised WiiU nor Linux versions of PC1 ever came out, don't hold your breath on a Linux version of PC2, it ain't gonna happen.
