Quoting: marcusThanks for this article! I played the demo and instantly bought it. Brings back good memories from my Commands times. Real Time Tactics was a genre really missing on Linux. Not just on Linux, it's a genre that disappeared almost entirely for about a decade.

Voted in every category save for Most Promising Early Access Game, on account of me not touching early access games with a 10 foot pole. So many great games to choose from in each category. Hopefully 2017 is an even better year.

This is my 2016 Game of the Year. It's so good. Simply put, Shadow Tactics has the best level design I've seen in a game in years. The game is very hard but fair (quicksave often, you will die a lot) yet there are multiple ways of getting past most obstacles. The difficulty curve is nearly perfect, scaling at the same rate as you yourself get better at the game, at least it did in my case. It's a very worthy spiritual successor to Commandos and worth every penny of the asking price.

Obviously, the Pornhub numbers are the hardest evidence yet for Linux growth. Hopefully Linux usage keeps thrusting forward and we reach a big climax in the future.
If you act fast you can grab a key for the demo of Disgaea 2 and it runs on Linux already

Snagged a demo key, can't wait to try it out. The graphics may have aged poorly, but the Disgaea series are some of the finest sRPGs out there.

Quoting: CitirollerIs best graphics intended for best visuals/visual style or most realistic/advanced graphics?Given that there aren't 2 separate categories, one for aesthetic and one for graphical fidelity, I imagine the category is intended to encompass either or both, whatever you found most visually appealing, whether that's high fidelity realistic graphics or something stylized.

Shadow Tactics gets my nod for Linux game of the year. Honorable mentions: Enter the Gungeon & Mad Max.

Happy Festivus everyone. Let's begin with the airing of grievances. I have a lot of bones to pick with you people. :D
What game are you truly thankful to have on Linux & SteamOS?

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, what a gem. It's not only about it being on Linux, I'm thankful this game exists at all. The isometric tactical stealth genre was pretty much a dead genre before this.
