I'm not really into furries, but besides that I think it looks cool. I'll wait for reviews to find out if the gameplay and story are up to snuff.

It certainly does resemble Mario 64 quite a bit. Early access, though, so I'll file it in the check back on it when it's finished cabinet.

Quoting: slaapliedjeThey need to port the rally games (as has already been said) but I think someone needs to hop on porting Assetto Corsa.Assetto Corza would be great, we could use a proper sim and I'm starting to think the Linux version of Project CARS is vaporware.

As for cloud gaming, until they solve the latency issue I'm not interested.

Quoting: IperpidoThe console is coming out in end 2016 if the kickstarter campaing will be successful, so i'm pretty sure the drivers will be much better.I don't know. I mean, I hope you're right, but how many years have we been waiting for ATI/AMD Linux drivers to get better? Maybe Vulkan will be the catalyst, pardon the pun, that turns the driver situation around, but I've given up on AMD ever getting their shit together. At this point, open source drivers might be a better bet.

Cool. As with Batman, hopefully by the time we get it on Linux the game is in a much better state than it was at release on Windows and the weeks after that.
More importantly, let me join everybody else in here saying please port Dirt Rally. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

A KDE developer has thoughts on changing how Linux games work

It's an interesting idea and I'm not going to dismiss it entirely, but, as echoed by so many people here, it creates a whole host of issues. Those issues would have to be solved or worked around before implementing anything like a separate wayland session for gaming.

The game looks great. That said, I'll be waiting a year and buying the Complete Edition for 50% off. I'm completely fed up with with pre-order bonuses and deluxe editions. This one in particular doesn't seem nearly as egregious as others I've seen, but it's still bullshit. It used to be you paid $50 or $60 and got a COMPLETE game. Now you need to spend $75, $90, $100, or even more to get the whole package and the publishers are trying to push microtransactions into the games on top of that. The vast majority of them are doing it now, too, which means I'll be buying very few if any AAA games at release, I'm fucking done with this shit. You'll get 1/3 to 1/4 of the money from me a year later, you greedy assholes.
This isn't directed at Feral, though, props to them for getting this out for Linux gamers day 1, we need more AAA games day 1. My beef is with 2K, as well as all the other big publishers, I guess.
