That's technical issue - you should receive notification when I mention your username. And I was sure it works this way. Can I request such a functionality?
It does not work that way, GOL runs custom software.
I understand. And as a programmer, I think that writing an interceptor that kicks in on message send, interprets all the occurences of words starting with '@' character, verifies if such a user exists and if so sends information about mention to recipient (if recipient does not exists, informs user about wrong mention) is not so hard. What's more - opening autocomplition when you start to type with '@' is not so hard as well. You would be able to do such a validation client side as well.
No rocket science from my point of view.

That's why I asked, can I request such a functionality. If you think that this is too much effort with not so big gain I understand. I just think this would be valuable.

Liam, You owe me 3.99 Euro! I wouldn't support them if I didn't believe in Linux port! ;)

Anyway, at least answer my question about Total War: Warhammer in this article (BTW. It looks it is impossible to get the link to the comment on Chrome on Android)

Total War: WARHAMMER might not see a day-1 Linux release

Game launches today without Linux support. @liamdawe any update here? Release calendar does not list this title at all...

Linux & Steam running on the PS4 playing Bastion is impressive
23 May 2016 at 9:04 am UTC

It would be super beneficial if it would be possible to run fully operational Linux on PS4. However, it seems to be against Sony business. Right now in gaming business Linux starts to mean Valve. And I guess it's obvious Sony and Valve are competitors.

I have PS4 and if I would be able to run Linux games on the same hardware it would be golden. But I have soft v3.50, that's one problem. Also, according to what I read some time ago, Wifi support does not work yet. And current support for AMD is not great in Linux games.

So for me it's great someone tries to bring Linux ro PS4, but I'm not taking any benefits from it yet, and I'm afraid I never will. Bit I would really love to.

Planetary Annihilation: TITANS has new patches in testing and a big new faction mod

Does this game have Single Player Campaign? If no, is community of playing people big?
I remember I bought Planetary Annihilation once (without Titans DLC) and gave it a try, but because of the bad performance on my rig I gave it up.

I have finally found a way to sort out screen tearing on Nvidia with Linux

So, here are the two very simple scripts I run. They are both put in plain text files and allowed to run as an executable (right click -> properties -> permissions -> tick "Allow executing file as program").
This is the funniest way to make a file executable in Linux I've ever heard. I mean, I understand that not everyone is using console very often, but seriously, I've never thought that someone is changing file to be executable without chmod, instead is using GUI.
But of course, GUI is meant to make things easier. Anyway, I've smiled a bit.

Quoting: hummer010Size = power isn't really true. Canada is the second largest country in the world, but we certainly aren't the second most powerful. I'd say it's more of a combination of size, population and perceived economic & military clout that defines power.

The goal of a nation like Switzerland would be to survive and prosper despite their geographical limitations.
I meant size as in size of population, not area. The US is four times larger in terms of population than the second largest western nation (Germany), so that's THE source of its power.
With your logic India is the second most powerful country in the world. Do you really believe it?
