Hand of Fate is a brilliant game, you should really give it a go on Linux & SteamOS

I played not long after the release and it seemed ok, but little after the half way it went from boringly easy to frustratingly difficult very fast, so I dropped it and never picked it up again.

My Thoughts On SteamOS After Some Time With It

What I would like to know is weather SteamOS has a desktop-like interface and wealth of different purpose software in the repositories, so it can replace me Ubuntu on the desktop.

Age Of Wonders III Now Has Mods, Linux Support Included, But No Mod Tools For Us

I bought the game on Steam summer sale expecting it will be more like HoMM and less like Civ, but it turns out it's the other way around. I used to be a huge fan of the Civ games, but nowdays I just can't commit so much time and attention, so AoW3 just wastes away in my Steam library.

No news on the Napoleon? We all expected that one to be the next Total War game ported.

Nova Blitz Trading Card Game Might Be My New Addiction On Linux

I'm a long time player of Shadow Era TCG, which is the only reason why I still keep Wine on my box. In is built in Unity, but devs straight out refuse to offer Linux client feeling it's too much trouble to support for too few players.

This might be interesting when completed, though I doubt I'm going to like the simultaneous turns and forced quick playing, that kind of thing makes sense only if the game is primarily for the mobile platform.

But we definitely need more TCGs on Linux. Here's hoping that someone some day will port Android Netrunner to a digital form.

Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II Released For Linux, With Preview Port Report

Don't even try to play this without the community content patch, as mentioned before (edit: great, it doesn't work :( . The game was simply rushed in the unfinished state and never completed afterwards. Even with the patch it was buggy and didn't feel properly finished. But even so, the game is a gem of story telling, even more than the first KotoR. Speaking of which, there are signs of first game being ported, so I'd wait to play that one first.

Quoting: morbiusWhy did they bother porting that garbage?

Are you saying that based on its gameplay quality or because you disagree with it?

The game is just plain bad and the developers instead of making a good game used brutal violence to get attention to their bad product. This is not new at all, Manhunt, Postal, Punisher, they all used this same strategy to try to paddle their crapware. GTA are violent games, but at least gameplay is good. What does Hatred have to show for itself?

Quoting: Alex VSharpI always liked the first game better. :P

Nah, second one is better with the content patch. I just wish they could make an official one, rather then the community one that we got now.
