Beside HL:A I'm still impressed with how good Elite Dangerous feels in VR. Obviously you'll need some HOTAS but the view out of the cockpit is very much worth it. I needed half an hour to get used to rolling over the side, at first it feels very uncomfortable but it soon went away in difference to normal walking mode in other games that still gives me the creeps. And I can only play for some hours, then I need a break to avoid headaches.

I'd defintely hope they come up with more high quality VR games like Alyx. Don't care if it will be Half-Life-something or not, just something serious.

Damn, was waiting for native Linux support because of some graphical glitches I experienced the middle of HL:A (which I feel kill the immersion). But I have a nvidia card, so let's see how bad it is...

Is anyone able to start it under Linux (with current Proton)? I'm stuck with kind of an intro and audio is coming from the boxes not from the VR.

Very nice. Does ED now work out of the box with Proton? The last time I tried I needed a custom patched Proton version.

I don't have Windows anymore and I'm really curious if ED will work with acceptable performance when the Valve Index finally arrives :)
