Any word on Linux support? It's probably fair to assume it will support Linux since their engine supports it well already, but a confirmation would be nice.

Quoting: KristianSwimming goggles are as small as sunglasses, yet they block your eyes completely from the outside world. So, yes, VR headsets can be as small as sunglasses and still block out the outside world.Quoting: sarmadThat would defeat the entire purpose.Quoting: Mountain ManI'm still of the opinion that this whole VR craze is going to be another short-lived novelty like 3D televisions and motion controls (other than the Nintendo Wii) once people realize that it doesn't meaningfully enhance their gaming experience. Professional applications, yes, but entertainment? I don't see it.I agree. VR will boom once headsets become as small and light as sunglasses, not with this bulky headsets.
This comes down to a factor mentioned by ObsidianBlk earlier: "VR most definitely DOES add a "meaningful enhancement" to the gaming experience. With the environment all around you, and (visually) nothing to distract you, you most definitely feel like part of the world in which you play."
VR headsets need to completely block out the outside world, therefore they can't be as small as sunglasses. Something as small as sunglasses wouldn't be a VR headset.

Damn it. At first I thought it has a local multiplayer mode (split screen), then I realized that's just a montage thing, not a gameplay.

Quoting: tuubiCould we keep the islamophobia (and other prejudice) off GOL please? IS does not represent the Islamic faith. It's just a bunch of loonies and brainwashed youngsters using an extreme version of their religion as an excuse for murder and mayhem, just like others have done before in the name of other faiths and ideologies, Christians included.Yup, just like George Bush killed few hundred thousand Iraqis and caused the near total destruction of Iraq in the name of democracy!!

And it's called IS, not ISIS, hence the game's title.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyNATO? Shooting at ISIS? Kind of unrealistic. Shouldn't it be either the Syrian Army, Russians, or maybe Hezbollah, manning that machine gun?If IS manages indeed to reach the borders of Europe it means they have already overran the Syrian Army and Hezbollah. So, yes, it would be NATO shooting IS.
Maybe there should be a NATO espionage game about carefully siphoning weapons, money and trainers to ISIS.
And it's called IS, not ISIS, hence the game's title.

hahaha... that looks insane. But from the video it looks more like a strategy game than a football game. I think Kopanito will still be more fun as a football game.

What's the state of Optimus anyway? I thought it wasn't supported by the proprietary driver. Has that changed lately?
