What?! Are they going to port almost all of them now - second, third and fourth? This is crazy, I can't keep up now. :dizzy:

Arma 3 Compared On SteamOS & Windows

This is fantastic!

Now I wonder how it works with AMD cards, on Windows I was able to play just after the release on my HD 7870 with decent (playable) frame rate, set between med and high settings.

GOL Asks: What Was Your Favourite Linux Game Release In August?

I say COH, but as AMD user I can't afford to play due to poor performance with 7870. Back in Windows days I tend to spend countless hours on this game.

Arma 3 Available For Linux In A Beta

Quoting: TheRiddickGame runs pretty damn good for me, maybe better then Windows. I get consistent 52fps with below spec/settings
GTX980 @ 3840x2160 (100% 3d render)
5500m View distance
BLUR OFF
SMAA Ultra
Most settings on High or Very High

The only issue I see atm is the Texture resolution is fixed on LOW, and I would like to run that at HIGH if possible in future. Might make a bug report about it. VERY happy with this port release! We should all be giving a standing applause for EON!
Wow, 4K and on high settings, that would be very impressive even for a native port compared to native version on Windows.

Has anyone yet tried how it works on AMD cards? I'm AMD user of hd 7870 and would like to get feedback how it works on similar cards.

Company Of Heroes 2 Launches For Linux On August 27th

Well, things won't change immediately regarding good ports on pair with Windows, Linux still needs masses to come and every port is now welcome. Even Mac which has significantly more users is having a shitty ports... I guess AMD is learning on tough lessons.

I'm just hoping that Steam OS is going to be a huge success, until then, we are small and insignificant for a big players to take us seriously.

I would like to see driver versions under updates to be listed down, so I can switch back if necessary. And better description about driver before installing would also appreciate as Ubuntu user.

PowerVR Show Off Vulkan On Android, Impressive

Because Vulkan is having a multithreading support, which was missing in OpenGL. This is one of the reasons they made Vulkan. Is that so hard to understand?
