I liked the 2013 Tomb Raider a lot. Also got its two sequels that got Linux ports. But I never finished them. They felt like DLCs for the first game, and I lost interest in them.
So far this one feels more of the same, so it is not something that gets me excited to play. I will wait and see if they managed to do something different from earlier sequels.
As for the AI thing, it is one more nail in the coffin of a potential buy, together with the Denuvo crap.

100 US dollars will make it too expensive in my neck of the woods. Maybe next year if it goes on a good sale discount.

Personally I'm happy there are studios still focused in creating single player FPS games, specially AAA ones that cost a lot of money to make it happen.
Not that those had disappeared, but I'm under the impression we only get one per year, while there is a sea of multiplayer FPSs, with more appearing each month.

What is sad is that Steam took a lot of people of the piracy scene here, but apparently big studios want those people to go back there ASAP.

Quoting: KoopaAlso some big studios dont care about this... I live in Argentina, latam-usd region and some AAA have exactly the same price as in the US. They didnt care about regional pricing before... I have doubts they will suddenly care.Indeed. Here in Brazil is the same thing. There are some "deluxe" special edition of some games that can reach a third of the Brazilian minimum wage. Most of the big AAA Studios like Activision, Sega or Konami, practically do strait US Dollar conversion rates.
Tbh what it looks from my end, is that regional pricing is falling apart, fewer studios do regional pricing by the day, to me Valve's move is kinda a desperate move because they dont want regional price to fall apart.

Fans of Portal and first-person puzzlers will definitely want to check out He Who Watches

While I applaud the effort in bringing some innovation in gaming, I don't know if this is for me. I already had to do the walk of shame to YT, in search of solutions for some stages of Portal and The Talos Principle. I think this one may be too much for me, since they are stating the thing will be tough.
We'll finally get more info and footage for Gears of War: E-Day in June

To me GoW is what Konami's Contra should have turned into when 3D/polygonal games started to dominate gaming in the late 1990's. Instead they released a series of so-so games that never made the same impact the early ones did.

I used to play the first game a lot. Then out of the blue the CEO decides to sell his soul to Epic. First thing they did was close the leaderboard, citing some BS about the difficulty in maintaining it with the release of the second game. And of course they canceled the second game coming to Steam and a potential Linux version.
To say I was pissed with all of that is a understatement. And of course, I didn't drop a tear after hearing previous news about they letting people go from Epic Brazil. And now this. Like they say, if you make a deal with the devil, you will end regretting it.

The nostalgic helicopter shooter Cleared Hot gets Linux support with a performance update

It is a bit repetitive yes. But is not different from any other game where you do the same stuff in different scenarios, with increased opposition and better weapons.

Quoting: Geppeto35Some returns about this game? I kept good memories about the gameplay of Desert Strike being a child. It resembles Desert Strike but is not a copy of it. Basically you are a mercenary flying missions for the good guys. And you can upgrade your helicopter and/or buy a better one with the profits of your missions.
Is it repetitive?

I don't see this reverting Xbox trajectory. I witnessed two hardcore Xbox friends of mine jump chip to PlayStation.
At this time in videogame history, it is crystal clear that what attract consumers is not the hardware alone, is the games. Since the Xbox executives think they don't need exclusive games to make a profit, we can expect the brand to just dilute itself into nothing in the incoming years.

Given enough time, every single PS game will be playable on PC trough emulation. Resistance is futile. PC assimilates everything.
