Linux GPU Control Application (LACT) gets a new fan control UI, automatic fan mode threshold on Nvidia

I've been using LACT for a month or two now to underclock my Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super (which is a factory overclocked card) and it's been a fantastic experienceI do a similar thing on my RX 6700 XT. It is a original AMD model that looks great, but have a subpar cooler. I undervolt it and limit the TPD for less 9W, so its junction temperature don't exceed 100°C.

They just need to copy the Steam Deck control layout for touchpads. Those are in a really awful location. Or better yet: make the first portable with customizable controls, a-la the Thrustmaster ESWAP or the Turtlebeach Victrix Pro.

It could have sold even more if Valve expanded its sales to the entire world, instead of only in selected markets. Here in Brazil, for example, you cold only get one in the grey market. But we can get a Asus or Lenovo portable from official resellers if we want. But, you know, they are not a Steam Deck.

I have a Pro 2 and out of curiosity I tested it on Windows to play with the back buttons. To my surprise, not every game supports them. In fact, I left very disappointed with the experience. I thought it would just work, but nope.
Lets see if things improve now.

I learned from Windows to always do a fresh install. This is why I would never be affected by something like this.

I use LACT for my gaming PC. I have a original AMD RX 6700 XT with their subpar cooler, so I use LACT to undervolt it and limit the TPD in less 9W. That way the card doesn't overheat in a hot climate without air-conditioning. The impact in performance is negligible, so I can increase the longevity of the card without resorting to more drastic (and expensive) measures.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed gets a couple of Steam Deck fixes

Looks like the Disney's copyright of the Mickey character is near the end. Given how Disney is not promoting their mascot as they used too, I imagine they are preparing to give up on him since other companies will be able to use it all they want.
The question remains, who will have the guts to be the first, since Disney may want to scare people to jump into the opportunity, and they have the money to drag other companies to court sitting any legal shenanigans.

Strange. This smells like they are splitting Ubisoft business to protect some assets from a inevitable bankruptcy.

Good for them. Escaping the claws of big studios at least allows you to be in charge of your own destiny. It does not guarantee your survival forever, but at least when the parent company is going under, you are not going with them.
