Quoting: m2mg2I've got so many Linux games I haven't played I haven't gotten to it. That and there is a little resentment about it working in Linux but not being released for Linux.I actually feel the same way about both statements xD Thanks anyway!

Quoting: m2mg2I used your blog to make Dead Effect run in Linux. I was trying Dues Ex the Fall but like you, I got no sound. I went to the wwise site and downloaded all the Linux versions of the their sdk and compiled the aksoundengine.so files. But none of them worked. Out of curiosity, did you try the different versions of aksoundengine on their site?Funny, I used his suggestions for Dead Effect, too. But I got some weird results:

Quoting: Xpanderlike i said, thatswhy i havent bought intel yet, cause most of their cpus have. only the expensive ones doesnt.Ahh, okay. I might have been a bit under-caffeinated this morning :D
AMD FX series will not have an APU yeah.. so thats all good in my book :)
Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoEven when they have an iGPU, I switched from AMD to Intel because they have low power consumption and a good singlecore performance...Yeah, that's totally understandable. I hope Zen helps to get rid of that fiasco that held me back from upgrading to anything else than a Phenom II in my main machine. I made an exception for my HTPC which got a Piledriver-based APU. At least the ones with less power-consumption are quite suitable for this niche.
I would like to use AMD again if they get rid of the piledriver tech fiasco.... I want true cores with low power consumption and high IPC per core and combo is only available at Intel... for now.

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoI want the return of the old fashion CPUs: A pure CPU only. I don't want to pay for an integrated GPU garbage that I will not use.
Quoting: XpanderOne of the reasons i havent bought intel yet. I just dont want the freaking IGP.Summit Ridge won't have an integrated GPU AFAIR.
Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoI really miss the old AMD days of CPUs with hidden cores.Do you mean unlocking those disabled cores of AMD Athlon/Phenom X3 CPUs? That's always been a bit like playing Minesweeper xD

Quoting: DamonLinuxPLNever buy games when Linux port is not releasing YET. Vote wallet, buy only games with Linux support.I know. That's why I said it was the first and the last one. I've bought it back in 2014 :D The disappointment is strong with this game..
