Of course they state that. It is MUCH easier to say SteamOS, than it is to say Debian/Ubuntu/Arch/Fedora/OpenSuSE/etc...
Considering the fact that all of the closed source bits are written for Linux userland in mind... do you really think at this stage they would switch to a BSD kernel and have to run it with the Linux compatibility layer?
Especially network/multiplayer games. You know, the ones that can't play against Mac users because of some of the platform specific differences?
So yeah, you are trolling.

This game looks great, but what I'd like to see is something along the lines of Myth... Loved that game! Loki released Myth 2 for Linux at one point. It's one of the few RTS games that you don't just manufacture your troops, and you have to try to keep them alive because they level up as you progress through the story. Definitely adds an epic level of difficulty, and fun. Most RTS games you just don't care about your troops because you can churn out more, probably why I haven't really gotten into any of them. Warwind by SSI was another great game (though for some reason it performed rather poorly back when the second was released, and a guy I know... *laughs* said that SSI doesn't make very good strategy games. Oh how I miss SSI...)
You can get Total War WARHAMMER for $12 in the current Humble Monthly Bundle

I was confused, because I didn't get another key (I already bought the game) but that's because it's in March's Humble Monthly Bundle, not February's.

Yeah, it's still Early Access, isn't it? How the hell can they be selling DLC already? How about fixing the damn thing....
But agreed, I may end up playing with some of the people here. Hopefully some of the Linux trolls don't come on and ruin it for everyone, or if they do we can get their names. :)

I'll have to join in the fray, I haven't played the game for a long time due to the graphic glitches.

Quoting: XpanderSad! I was thinking "Sweet, it's out?" and then "Sweet, it's out on Linux?" Conan Exiles looks fantastic (being a big fan of Conan doesn't hurt).Quoting: AryvandaarToo bad. I'm playing Conan Exiles atm.its not out for Linux. If it will ever be.
Have fun though!
Looks good though, hopefully it will be released to linux at some day also and hopefully they make use of vulkan by then.

Sweet! That's a game I haven't bought yet, or gotten through a humble bundle, so I can give money to the people who deserve it.
I should ask, is it really best just to buy it from Feral's webstore and then get a Steam Key? I didn't do this for Total War: Warhammer, because I just snagged it when it was on sale on Steam (because of the terrible DLC, which I don't blame Feral for). I would prefer they get the most of the port/price so they keep on with the Penguin's work.
All hail the Penguin, may it forever waddle.
