Quoting: GuestSounds like typical greedy Valve.
Sounds like Valve clamping down on greedy developers.
I don't think so, for me sounds more like Valve stopping a bottomless pit of expenses, that bring no monetary return. Or being a sound business practice.

Quoting: skyrrdI also bought the link&controller combo (germany as well)

Besides that i added black mesa and stanley parable even when i know that i will not be able to play them any time soon :P

Adding shipping costs it totalled at 71,66€. Should be enough this time ;-)
I really wanted the controller but the last time I looked into it it would be far more expensive than I can afford. They really need to launch it in Brazil so I can buy it.

Ok, this gif, without the goofy additions is terrifying.

I'm going to see if there's any game worth that I already don't have and that's not available on GOG(and I can't see getting there soon). I'm getting really pissed with not being able to play one game on my PC and my brother playing another on his if both are in my account.

Airship combat game Guns of Icarus Alliance released as a standalone game

Quoting: LinasI played a fair amount of Guns of Icarus Online in the early days, and it can be a great game. Although it is very dependent on the community and teamwork. You absolutely have to use voice communication to coordinate your actions. And experienced players will totally hand you your ass on a plate.

I would like to try Alliance, but I am afraid I will not be able to dedicate enough time to actually be any good at it. Which is a problem with such highly cooperative games. That was actually the reason I stopped playing Guns of Icarus Online in the first place...
The same problem with me. I wanted to play more of the game but never got to assemble a team.

Editorial: On paying for Linux games when you already have a Windows version

I think the main issue is that Linux version are taking so much to be released, If all Linux versions were day one and you could chose one platform on buy to have it I would be far less conflicted about the whole issue.

The amount of broken/delayed promises for Linux from developers are already too much to make yet another barrier to gaming on Linux.

Wow! Here on Brazil, even with the promotion, it is really expensive. I don't think I'll buy now.
