Quoting: Avehicle7887Worth noting - The Surge 2 makes use of Vulkan natively, no dxvk needed. Respect to these devs who are open minded enough to switch away from the DirectX wheel.
I know they use Vulkan and I want to buy it, but I don't know if the cinematics are encoded using those problematic Microsoft codecs.

A French court has ruled that Valve should allow people to re-sell their digital games

I think the response from Valve for to keep the consumers calm could be eliminating the Two weeks and two hours time limit for to ask a refund...
It can be interesting to be able to refund a game you finished last year....
From a consumer point of view it will be awesome, but from a publisher point of view it will be a nightmare.

Quoting: ExpalphalogI swear, every time I try to update my drivers, Cinnamon starts crashing on start up. It's annoying.
The same happen to me when I try to upgrade the drivers on my old Ubuntu 16.04 (I tried to upgrade to 18.04, but the upgrade process doesn't work)

Well...
I have this native Linux game I purchased for my mom that doesn't work anymore after the latest game update...
The game works perfectly out of the box via PROTON 3.16, but NOT via 4.2-9 or 4.11-2..

Is this what you call wine regression?.

SJWs can find controversy in a brick wall.
I'm from Argentina, I don't know the meaning of the word SJW.

Steam Play passes six thousand Windows games playable on Linux, according to ProtonDB

It's worth noting though, that with little over nine thousand games currently reported, Steam does host well over thirty thousand so there's a huge amount that hasn't yet been tested.
Incidentally, that ratio probably hints at the amount of junk on Steam (but also probably a lot of less-known and older titles that people aren’t interested in testing and replaying at this point).
Thirty thousand games is what I call overweight... Steam can fall due to it.
Is not the same, but is similar to the mid 80's game crisis.
Steam need a curated system.

This [External Link] game I purchased for my mom is a good example :><:
Of course it's not normal. Have you reported that one to the developer?
Yes, and no answer.

This is a necessary tool, even if the game has a Linux version.
