Hey guys I'm the guy in charge of the Mac and Linux ports. Glad it seems to be working great for most people, I put a lot of work into these ports. The Humble drmfree build should be updated soon and Flying Wild Hog will likely update the store page with the platforms soon as well. That said if you buy it on steam you will be able to play it on Mac and Linux they simply haven't enabled the icons on the store page.
