Having watched the video, I agree, that is incredibly misleading. Plus the disclaimer is too small, is on the screen too briefly, and your eye is drawn away from it because of the motion on the left of the screen.

I could easily see people buying this and then getting pissed when they realize that they can't actually play Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, or any of the dozens of other games that are prominently showcased in the ad.

I agree, this is going to bite Valve come launch.

Maybe Valve has a bunch of AAA games up their sleeve to coincide with the official launch of SteamOS/Steam Machines.

I've been interested in this game for a long time but had written it off as having zero chance of coming to Linux. However, this news is encouraging, so back on my wishlist it goes. :)

I would say Witcher 3 and Mad Max, two games that were explicitly advertised as coming to Linux/SteamOS that have been left in limbo without any word from the developers.

I agree, but the lowest common denominator, which Valve must appeal to in order for SteamOS to attract wide acceptance, want AAA games. While you and I might be content with the many excellent "indie" titles currently available through Steam for Linux, that's a much tougher sell for the average consumer who wants to play Fallout 4 and Mad Max.
