However, additional performance improvements in Linux would be nice.

Quoting: GuestHopefully "Video Filter Customizations" includes the ability to disable the blur and chromatic aberations!Motion blur can be disabled in the settings menu. And I'm not seeing any green flashes during loading.
Besides that, new parkour moves sounds cool, but I wish the list included "Linux performance improvements" and "green flashes during loading fixed".
Not very glad about the improved AI as the game was hard enough for me, but I’ll see…

Quoting: MGOidBugs, bugs everywhere... I bought this in the Black Friday, the game show me a message saying it needs OpenGL 3.3, when I have 4.1 in the free drivers... It keeps crashing no matter what I do to convince it that my hardware meets the requirement...Sounds like a problem with your drivers. I'm running a 760GTX and Nvidia's official drivers, and the game runs great for me. Very smooth and responsive, and it plays great with a Steam Controller.

Shadows of Mordor also had a crazy QTE final boss fight which ended up being the easiest fight in the game. I didn't mind it because I hate boss fights in general (they're often borderline unfair and ruin the pacing), but it still struck me as odd.

Once again, this is why developers need to use cross platform tools when making their games. Using proprietary and single platform solutions will always screw you when you try and port your game.

Quoting: totexHonestly, if he had trouble installing Ubuntu then I have to assume that he buys all of his computers with Windows already installed, because installing Ubuntu is no more difficult than installing Windows (boot the install DVD; select from a few well-explained options; wait for the install process to finish). If he can't do the one then I really don't see how he could do the other.Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyHe speaks to truth. If you're butthurt about it, then too bad.Garry dosen't know anything about linux. He even blames the whole linux desktop for not being ready based on he's failed attempt to install Ubuntu 12.04 back a few years ago. He is just a noob developer who made a crappy game with unity engine. He is in no position to judge with he's lack of skills.

I've noticed a pattern: developers who mishandle their project tend to drop Linux development first and make disparaging comments about supporting the platform. It's no great loss, I say.
I wrote off Rust when after two-years of blowing through "investor's" money with no solid development plan in place, the developers suddenly announced that they were scrapping it all and starting over from scratch. And, hey, would you please give us Kickstarter and Early Access funds so we can continue risking other people's money while we play game developer despite having literally nothing to show for our efforts?
Yeah, no thanks.

Is it randomized? That's the one thing I didn't like about Legend of Grimrock because it really limited the replay value.

Quoting: BeamboomGuys... This game has a metascore as low as in the 50s. I strongly suggest you guys read a few (real) reviews before deciding to chip money into this product. Also showing a rating of "Mixed" on the store page itself which means that around half of the reviews are a thumbs-down.
You'll find several to choose from here:
