Having watched the video, I agree, that is incredibly misleading. Plus the disclaimer is too small, is on the screen too briefly, and your eye is drawn away from it because of the motion on the left of the screen.
I could easily see people buying this and then getting pissed when they realize that they can't actually play Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, or any of the dozens of other games that are prominently showcased in the ad.

Quoting: johndoe86xMaybe Valve has a bunch of AAA games up their sleeve to coincide with the official launch of SteamOS/Steam Machines.Quoting: FutureSutureWhat's wrong in this image?I agree, this is going to bite Valve come launch.

Quoting: rudeboyskunkAwesome! I love city builders (favorite was 1602 AD). Having a good one on Linux will certainly make me happy.Do you not consider Cities: Skylines to be a "good one"? I personal think it's excellent, although the performance could be better.

I've been interested in this game for a long time but had written it off as having zero chance of coming to Linux. However, this news is encouraging, so back on my wishlist it goes. :)

Quoting: Comandante oardoWell.. for me, Batman: Arkham Knight.. I remember It was announced for Steam Os /linux for Fall 2015 (That will be now)... And nothing happened... AND NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER DELAY!!!It was delayed because the Windows version was broken and recalled for additional development. Feral had to wait until the recent re-release to begin their porting process.

I would say Witcher 3 and Mad Max, two games that were explicitly advertised as coming to Linux/SteamOS that have been left in limbo without any word from the developers.

Quoting: supashangI'm sorry, but people need to understand that AAA games does not mean "must have for best gaming experience". I've had more fun playing Indie games on my Linux steam library lately than I have on any AAA (except Skyrim) that I have in my AAA Windows library. I shouldn't need to mention how many AA titles have been a complete disaster after launch on Windows. Indie FTW.I agree, but the lowest common denominator, which Valve must appeal to in order for SteamOS to attract wide acceptance, want AAA games. While you and I might be content with the many excellent "indie" titles currently available through Steam for Linux, that's a much tougher sell for the average consumer who wants to play Fallout 4 and Mad Max.

Quoting: MayeulCAbout the other titles... I doubt they will come over to Linux, since this title is UE4-Based, thus the porting process should have been easier (minus the experience porters gained from the plethora of UE3 games ported). Speaking of UE games, I hope the UNREAL series will come one day :)Arkham Knight uses the same engine as the previous games in the series.

Quoting: maodzedunI hope they port the previous games as well - Arkham City is effing amazing.I've been hoping for a while that all the previous Arkham games would get Linux ports since those are really the only games I sort of miss playing since nuking my Windows partition a couple of months ago.
