Quoting: slaapliedjeCould be worse. Playstation Store REQUIRES you to save your CC info. Steam has a nice little 'don't save'. First few times I bought something through the PS Store, I ended up adding my card, then removing it right afterward. Now I just buy a card through Amazon and redeem it there. I don't do that often, but occasionally games like Polybius comes along... and if you haven't played that, please do! Need to ping Jeff Minter and request Linux version for it once his Sony exclusivity deal ends...Minter's still in the biz eh? Tempest 2k was one of the few bright spots for the Atari Jaguar.

Quoting: TiedemannI guess I'll either have to find a girl and get a kid really fast or get a T-shirt with "Real men have Unicorn Hamster plushies!".Your best bet is to find many girls and try for many kids. Just don't give them your real name until you find the combo you like.

Quoting: fabertaweBought this recently after holding out... for some unknown reason. Anyway, the game is fantastic, love it. I've put in 40 hours just completing all the side quests available so far and having fun exploring, but as far as the story line goes I'm only now about to go to old town. I wish I'd done it already as I won't now be able to compare it with the addition of the new content!I'm holding out because its past due for the price to drop from $60. It's not a new game anymore. I would have bought it when it was new if not for 1) there were linux issues from the get-go which took them a while to resolve and 2) it was obviously going to get milked for DLC. Any such game I'll just wait a year or two for a GOTY edition that has all the content bundled. I just can't justify paying $60 for a game that came out 2.5 years ago now (or any portion thereof in a 'sale' markdown unless it's extreme).
I got the new gun from Gemly this morning but it did take a few attempts with some server errors.
Albion Online hasn’t exactly been the smoothest of launches so far, but I'm hopeful for the future of it

Quoting: Avehicle7887Launches like this are pretty normal for MMOs, I remember when Guild Wars 1 was released in 2005, rubberbands, frequent disconnects and lag were the daily breakfast. Exciting times :-)Hmm, I was a launch day player for Guild Wars and its expansions. I'd say it was actually one of the smoothest MMO launches in history. I don't remember ever being in any kind of server queue for that game, and nothing serious going wrong in game besides server reboots every couple of hours for the first few weeks (which they usually warned about well ahead of time).
So far I like what I see, may pick it up soon.

I purchased the game last night. Had no trouble downloading the client or logging in. Ran great on my weird gentoo system. Looks like an i7-2600 & gtx 960 are more than enough for it, even in a town with hundreds of people it was at 45% gpu use and no cpu cores maxed.
Even if I don't end up playing it much I don't regret supporting a company that obviously put some time and effort into their linux port.
My IGN is Kedvic if someone wants a not-around-very-often straggler in their guild or friends list.

After many hours in Path of Exile via wine this weekend, I can't help but feel this would be a disappointment for me if I tried it right now.

Quoting: 14Because I want to support developers who support us. It's the same reason I have 1,254 titles in my steam library and about 20 hours a year to play games.Quoting: psycho_driverHad absolutely zero interest in this game but I'll buy it when the vulkan renderer is working correctly.Just because you want to experience a driver API?

Quoting: rapakivI think Daikatana has a source port out there somewhere.Quoting: KelsI will always guess Skyrim. No matter what the hint, it means Skyrim.Love this philosophical line, no matter what it's Sryrim.
The first thins that popped in my memory was Daikatana, but after refreshing my memory i realized that i was totally insane, nothing of it.
So I will say ... Skyrim
