The developer of Crazy Justice has shown off a quick teaser of it on Ubuntu

Quoting: liamdaweThe same can be said for any game that's similar to any other. I highly doubt they're going in expecting the level of success of Fortnite.

Do remember we're a Linux site, we don't have anything like Fortnite and it probably never will come to Linux. For us, Crazy Justice is a safe bet.
One of these days a Linux compatible game will rise to the status of fadware. It is all a matter of chance.

Quoting: PublicNuisanceI have started to notice that more games are starting to put the Windows version on itch but not the Linux just like on GOG. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue.
Yeah that's the most frustrating thing. I messaged the developers of Apocryph about a Linux build. No reply yet.

Between Itch and GOG, they more than meet my needs... except for multiplayer (over network) games. I have my fingers crossed that Steam's open licensed GameNetworkingSockets can help this a little.

Beautiful space combat game EVERSPACE officially out of beta for Linux and now on GOG
9 May 2018 at 10:48 pm UTC Likes: 1

This post is for any buyer having trouble getting Everspace to run on Debian 9 Stretch (stable). You may have tried launching Everspace from terminal only to find: /home/$USER/RSG/Binaries/Linux/RSG-Linux-Shipping: not found
It seems the launcher scripts are looking in the wrong place for this binary.

1. Edit ~/EVERSPACE/game/EverspaceWithSystemLibraries.sh line 4 to look like: "/home/<YOUR USER NAME>/GOG Games/EVERSPACE/game/RSG/Binaries/Linux/RSG-Linux-Shipping"  "$@" providing your username where it says <YOUR USER NAME> and save.

2. You will probably need to backport Mesa 17.3 (Which was backported finally just this week) as is recommended on the GOG storepage.

This is admittedly a messy fix but hopefully the next time you launch Everspace, everything should start just fine.

Dark fantasy shooter 'Apocryph' released recently with Linux support, it's messy

Apocryph is also available on Itch.io, but oddly without Linux compatibility.

EDIT: Looks like you guys beat me to it.

Education game 'Build A World EDU' has Linux support

"Educational"

^^ The United Nations, everybody.

But really, if they were serious about education the code would be freely available.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm stupid. buildaworld.net is it's own project.

Quoting: liamdaweOn the subject of Vulkan adoption, it is interesting to note that the current Vulkan Developer Day in Montréal is actually being hosted by Ubisoft. Doesn't mean we will see their games on Linux (not what I'm getting at), but it does hopefully mean more of the bigger companies like them are looking more into it - therefore helping a possible future port from the likes of Feral and others.
Who knows? Maybe they will even walk away with a newly discovered passion for software freedom.

Midnight Ultra, a colourful retro-inspired FPS is now on Linux

Quoting: aFoxNamedMorrisWho thought that posterizing a stamp-sized rendering of a lo-fi 3D game was a good idea? This looks awful!
Game art is hard. That's why there are so many "retro" indie games.

Quoting: ShmerlGood bye DRM-free releases like Firewatch?
They obviously don't share all of the same values.
