I would be more excited to hear them announce support for Coreboot and the end of PSP integration but you can't win them all.

Star Citizen, Everspace, Elite: Dangerious. GOL has written about a number of space sims which constantly beat around the bush about whether or not they will release for Linux. If even one of them (including this game) could meet that promise, I will be a happy customer.

Quoting: boltronicsI've been waiting ages for FreeSync support. All my hardware supports it, so I'm just waiting on the software stack to catch up.

I'll be very upset if FreeSync is only supported by the proprietary stack (which most AMD users on GNU/Linux rightfully no longer use anyway, based on the hardware survey here). It would be a stupid move by AMD, but I'm quite sure the intent is for it to arrive on the free software stack once the DC arrives and this won't be a problem.
I am personally waiting for it to enter Mesa. Even if it takes longer, what's another year at this point? The rest of that package is fantastic.

PS: I see a world in not too distant future were you need 3 consoles, 2 PC ‘stores’ and 2 mobile devices to get the games you *want* to play.
This only holds true for the mentality that one must have access to every game at all times. Which, even today, that mentality will drive up your cost of gaming significantly. Those of you who "sacrificed" games by giving them up in a switch from consoles to PC know what I'm talking about. Is it really that much bigger of a step to just enjoy the games that are available on your platform?

Quoting: tmtvlTake a shot every time someone lists more than one game, you'll die instantly.

Also, so many people choosing Fallout 4, that is why LGBTQ people don't feel welcome in video gaming. I'm am disappointed and ashamed that such a homophobic game gets such a warm reception.
Too bad, so sad. Any rational person isn't going to let identity politics determine the value of a game. I wouldn't care if a game has the player reenact historic lynchings, so long as it brings a fun experience to the table.
