How is Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order marked as playable when there is still the huge fps drop bug when entering the menu? Do they have a secret unreleased proton version for the steam deck?

To be fair the Linux port was really bad and it ran better on proton.

tl;dr : Mac + Linux is "under discussion". Backers can ask for a refund.

@scaine
Yeah, I agree with all of your points, I think I just reached the "acceptance" stage of grief...
Being betrayed by your video game developer idol sucks :(

I think it would be worth noting in the article that it is the publisher, Bigben interactive, and not the developer that has stated the game would not come to GNU/Linux. They are also responsible for the game being on Steam only and being shipped with Denuvo (see the statement on gloomywood website).
I think Bigben is the one to blame in this case, Gloomywood was looking for a publisher after succeeding their crowdfunding campaign (you can argue that it is unethical, but a lot of indie studios do that) and the one that got their interested was clearly a shitty one.
I love Raynal's games (LBA2 is my favorite game ever) and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I'm still quite angry and disappointed though, I really wanted this game to be good and successful... And I can't even play it.

After a quick look at the other videos on the channel (typical gamergate/anti-sarkeesian stuff) I don't think I will give any kind of interest to this video...
Valve Finally Have A Proper Refund Policy For Steam

A time-based restriction is very unfair for the developers that makes short games. I'm thinking Gone Home, 140, visual novels... Plus, steam does not track play time when in offline mode.
I get why some people could want a refund system but I don't think that's an absolute necessity.

Logitech F310 Gamepad Review On Linux

The F310 is the gamepad I use and I am quite happy with it. Be careful not to break the wire at the connection between the gamepad and the usb wire (not sure if clear, non-native speaker here). That happened to me and I had to buy a second one. Which, given the cheap price of the device is not really a big deal.
Some games refuses to detect the gamepad (especially through wine) but qjoypad is a great tool to fix that problem.
But wow, so many FPS are named, I guess I am too "pc master race" elitist for that :p
Gamepad is mainly for platformers and 3rd person action games, I stick to the mouse for the others.
