Open your wallets, there's some great Linux games on sale right now

Quoting: ZlopezI want to buy a Dawn of War III, but I don't know if Feral get anything from the sold copy if I buy it on Steam.
Does anyone know if they are getting they share? If not I will rather wait till the sale will be in the Feral store.
If you buy on Steam for Linux, they'll get a share. If you buy from their store, they'll get much more.

Also please note the game has NO cross platform Multilayer between Windows and Linux - that could be a pitfall if you'd like to play this with your friends.

Dear Esther is one of the best visual novels I know. But it's more artistic I guess.

Quoting: hardpenguinI usually just play the AoE2 original using Wine, but this might be a cool way to enjoy the game, too!

I wish AoE2:HD available on Steam supported Linux :P
Which unfortunately will most likely never happen since the rights still belongs to Microsoft.

Maybe it could be fun for a LAN. But I don't see it will be seriously playable. Around Age of Empires II HD there's a new competitive scene and it's much fun to compete online. I think this will never happen for a open engine like this.

Guys, don't take my comment to serious. I e.g. played Dear Esther and enjoyed it a lot! It feels just a little weird to have a game where you run around as a fox. Looks a little like it's mend for kid - but obviously it could still be fun.

Slapping minions, defeating heroes and being delightfully evil in Dungeons 3, my thoughts

The game runs flawlessly with a good performance on my RX 480 + Arch Linux. Also, it does look incredibly well - Warcraft IV should look like this! ;) I can't say anything about the game itself yet since I had only time to play it for a few minutes before heading to work. So I'll report within the next days!

Quoting: lucifertdarkNot happening here for a while, I've got a sick dog to take care of first & the Vets bill is scary to say the least.
I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully your dog will recover soon!

Since when are you guys so happy about games with no content and nice graphics only? Couldn't you just run a tech demo instead like heaven's benchmark in free walk mode? :'P
