There is a sale right now! Is the game worth it? The reviews are mixed: Good and bad ones are almost even. Usually this is a bad sign.

Especially in comparison to Banished I don't like the graphics style too much of this. It looks to well-arranged and less random. Maybe it's still a subject to change...

The Humble Very Positive Bundle 2 is an awesome deal

I think I'll just pay a small amount since I'm only interested in RIVE. I do love the LOTR setting but not the game play of "Shadow of Mordor". The story is also not LOTR related, only the setting. And that is not well-made in my opinion....

Will this be already counted as a Linux sale?

By the way, how do you know Humble Sales are counted as Linux sales on Steam also? I got no answer to this question that satisfied me in the past from the Humble staff. I think people just expect that....

Quoting: Geppeto35Could be nice for our young children as well (always looking for games that open mind and matches children sensibilities)?
Children, especially in conjunction with the word young, are supposed not to stick to TV and gaming. Take them outside and play and explore the world with them then just going for the comfortable way to make them being silenced because they're occupied by gaming.

City-building strategy game 'Banished' is no longer having a Linux port
14 Sep 2017 at 1:26 am UTC

Actually I expected this to happen a few years ago already. It was pretty damn clear there won't be any port since it got postponed all the time.

I'm a bit sad since the game is supposed to be fun when a few mods. The game itself has not enough content.

The problem about the port was the engine was self-written without any usage of SDL whatsoever. It's pretty hard to manage rendering, I/O and stuff without anything like SDL, especially if the code should run on at least 3 different OS.

Apart from the fact I really do not enjoy MMO's (I tried WOW and Guild Wars back in the days) I wonder why they still have to look like Gothic II with a few more light effects here and there.....

There's a brand new Humble Bundle with almost all the games on Linux, oh my

Who should pay for this kind of trash games? I saw s**t like this on Steam before and wondered how they could succeed....

Looks like a Linux version of Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation with Vulkan is still on the table

Excited for Tropico 6? Here's a new trailer to keep you going

Quoting: GuestTropico 5 looks great but I haven’t managed to even finish the tutorial due to the over-complexity and lack of fun. Hopefully T6 will be different enough… (and released on GOG!)
Really? I'm sometimes fed up with too complex games, but Tropico 5 is none of them! It's quite easy to start since all the options are quite limited at first they evolve throughout the game.
