Redout, a fantastic looking tribute to games like WipeOut could come to Linux, with enough interest

Quoting: stickyparadigmIt's awesome to see all the noise this article has generated. The Steam thread is on fire!

... yes it is! Still I don't get why they do ask. People write + 1, but in the end they will have 1-3 % Linux Sales. They could calculate by themselves to find out if it's worth to them.

Actually there's not much gameplay shown in the video. From the first impression I'd say I'd prefer Desperados - if only there would be a linux version of it! :/

Unity 5.5 released, removes legacy OpenGL support

Quoting: STiAT
Quoting: LordpkappaWe'll see an upgrade to the actual games that use Unity like Cities Skylines?
They're pretty fast upgrading the eninge for their game. Two days ago (29th of November) they released on Unity 5.4 which was released on 10th of August, so it took them only close to two month. So I'd guess with the next bigger content they release we'll see Unity 5.5 support.
... which means we might see some Vulkan-Support for already existing games after it's been implemented in Unity? Great! (:

They messed up their Kickstarter campaign - I'm not sure what to expect now. I'll see what we're up to after receiving key. (:

Hopefully further game and engine patches will fix some of those problems.

I did actually just post on the Steam Forums under Technical Issues/Bugs section but that one isn't even shown to me any more. It seems like they want to prevent people from getting to know there're still issues. Therefore I'll submit the bug via the form instead.

Well, I'd really like to play the game! Therfore I did buy it yesterday. But the game won't load for me.... I opened a bug report:

What annoys me somewhat, is that all the reported bugs from before release were removed.
Maybe that was the case for my bug as well? How could I find those closed Bugs? I tagged mine with [LINUX][BUG]....

Go, Go, Go Linux folks! Get it while it's hot! Most of the time publishers take a close look at the first week in terms of selling statistics - we need to push Linux sales on this incredible looking game! :)
