About the porting: are they actually porting it themselves now? The earlier X games were ported by outside contractors and Egoraptor let those ports rot afterwards. I always hated them for that.

Is rather an old review though, made when the game was released. From what I gather the game changed a lot since the release.

The forum post that Liam linked is a very interesting read about their current thoughts about Linux/OpenGL.

Voting for it is not a problem, funding OTOH....
Generally we wait until wee see the Linux version in hand, we've been burned so many times.

It does look promising though, if you could upload a Linux demo somewhere it would be great.
