God damn! (pun intended)

Okay, I'm backing this, hell yes! This is the sort of game I'm tempted to build another arcade cab for.

Installation 01, the Halo fan-game that will support Linux has a new trailer

The litmus test for if MS will do something;

If you saw this game on its own, without the commentary, article, titles, or knowing anything about it; would you think it was Halo?

If yes, then yeah, that's going to be a huge problem. It's when it gets difficult to tell the two apart (and it is) that you start getting in to IP infringing territory.
Let's hope they have a backup plan (like replacement art and storyline).

The other possibility is that they get picked up/bought out by MS. Maybe that's what they're aiming for?

Their dedication to the Linux port and solving problems with it makes me want to support them. Sounds like they are doing a great job!

Crikey, I remember the controversy behind this.

Say... anyone remember Meatpuppet [External Link]? Similar style to Postal, but bloody awful gameplay.

I noticed this with the recent Zombie Night Terror update too. So I don't think it's an isolated thing at this point, but more likely a Unity issue.

Same issue, same solution, different game.

The Culling hopefully won't be broken forever on Linux, the developer does 'value' the Linux community

I just despertely want it to be either Doom, Quake Champions, or Prey. Any of those big 3 would make my day.
All of those 3 would make my whole decade.

Looks like I might be picking this one up. Any sign of a GOG release?
