What a bunch of lying losers. Steam: "not interested".

A look at some great Linux & SteamOS racing games available in 2017

Of those top down racers one fun with friends is Race Online http://store.steampowered.com/app/355010/Race_Online/ [External Link]

For fans of old classic Slicks 'n' Slide or Little Racers Street.

Quoting: Doc AngeloEh... this seems to cross the border between fiction and reality for me in a very wrong way. I don't think I want to play this.
My first gut reaction exactly. Warfare to kill people from miles and miles away with a joystick. I refer to a real war video on YT i remember running into way back; where the "soldiers" rejoice while pressing buttons from a cozy command center office; "look at all those dead bastards"

God i started to feel sick now :/

Quoting: Power-Metal-GamesI will not count all the problems I experienced with Windows, but I will just describe the worst of all of them: when I finaly stoped using it and decided to switch to Linux I done it because CPU usage on my computer started growing last months every time by some prcent and finaly riched 99%...
Sorry, but it could be solved via re-installing OS after formatting system drive.
Still, I glad you came to GNU\Linux.
Emphasis on the "it could be solved" and nevertheless: one has to repeat that re-installation every few months to keep it "fresh" / getting everything as it was prior.. At worst takes couple of days, right. Fun all the way XD

Sociable Soccer, from the designer of Sensible Soccer could see a Linux version with enough support

Quoting: thewhoIf you are interested in Sensible Soccer-alike games, you should take a look at ysoccer [External Link] which is OpenSource.

I am sure i would like Sociable Soccer, but i will miss the management part known from SWoS. Maybe this is the chance for Pixel Soccer [External Link] which will release in December and should support Linux, too.
Goodness! Didn't know about YSoccer project. Thanks.

I recently commented on that Football Manager 2018 article:
"This must be THE football game being a manager, but who to possibly bring Sensible Soccer Remastered (!) to existence... :woot:
This is quite it! Let's make it happen! Please! :woot:

Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"

Haven't spent a dime ever on GOG. Does this make me wanna? Hmm.

There's also this one: https://github.com/xLAva/JediAcademyLinux [External Link]
Not sure which one i played it with, it was already over a year ago, sorry i could not be more specific.
Yes, i know. It's much of a hassle though, especially for Linux new comers. Steam and a couple of clicks is a thing.
