That's right! AMD or nothing nowadays! Nvidia driver updates seldom break the system. Why can't they just open these bloody drivers up and let the community make em gold for Linux?

Great if true, but but but .....

I hope this project won't end up being a show of shit, and then if media link Linux' name to it. Would be not-so-good now that Linux gaming is getting more hold on people.

One of the biggest challenges for seasoned Linux users is to place oneself in the shoes of a new comer that's also a Windows refugee. What is "simple, handy and easy" (*just a few commands on the terminal*) for us, might be a set of total deal breakers for a "normo" to start with :grin:
