It's a *great* game, by the way, I absolutely loved it.

Quoting: EhvisPretty weird to release the game on GOG, and keep the denuvo on Steam.Quoting: scainePrey [External Link] is platinum, and they've recently removed Denuvo, which was preventing me from buying it until now. At 80% off, only £4, I'm picking this up, finally.Oh! Removing denuvo does indeed change things. Still, over my 5 euro general guideline of spending no more than 5 euro on a proton game. Seems that the pound price is better for this one. What would make me more hesitant is sending money in the direction of Zenimax.

Thinking about Flash I get memories of mid-90s 'multimedia CD-ROMs' put together with groundbreaking Macromedia technology. The internet archive has loads of those as well, by the way — and it's usually shocking how little content they actually had.
By the way, this is my favorite 'flash content' of all time:

You know who has a platypus mascot [External Link]? The Darwin project [External Link], of course...
... and yesterday, Apple released their first arm-based line.
COINCIDENCE? I think not...

Quoting: whizseThanks for the link! I was wondering whether the game had a website, because I wasn't able to find a link on the dev's twitter feed. It's very barebones, but something tangible to keep track of.Quoting: wvstolzingEDIT: Another perspective puzzler in development - https://twitter.com/mattstark256/status/1213156890475212800?s=20 [External Link] - looks really interesting. The developer has posted a couple more updates in the Summer in his twitter feed.Oh, thanks for posting this, very cool! Seems to be called Viewfinder [External Link]?
Speaking of interesting puzzle games, I wonder if Miegakure [External Link] will ever be released? It's been in development for 11(!) years now. Not DNF bad, but it is getting up there in years.

This looks really interesting to me as a fan of Portal (& I also liked The Witness quite a bit; which also has a good number of perspective puzzles.)
-- it's also on GOG, by the way.

I'm sure this sizzles the hearts of all 80s/90s 'micro' users.
This fellow already has an 'unboxing and review': https://youtu.be/3A7pQN5W08E [External Link]

This fellow brings up the similarity to early micros: https://youtu.be/P1E5xszQqV8 [External Link]

Fedora 33 released with lots of improvements to the Linux desktop

I used it for a while on Arch; FWIW I thought the configuration was really tidy & simple -- though I had to switch back because *some* application -- can't remember what for the life of me, sorry -- kept breaking.

Quoting: omicron-bVarious compatibility issues: https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/2476 [External Link]Quoting: ArehandoroI (usually) love fedora, and I love the changes introduced in 33. But the post, and comments so far, seem to miss the most important and controversial changes this iteration includes (for me); systemd-resolved as a default dns daemon. What's wrong with it?
I believe I have it in Ubuntu 20.04, but I use stubby and DoT, so it was as simple as about 2 lines in terminal to switch to stubby.
Truth be told, stubby may actually crash about once a month and I have to restart it to get back to Internet.
Maybe I need to learn how to use systemd-resolved after all.

I wonder if Fedora will upgrade to XFCE 4.16 within the 33 cycle. (There's already a copr for it, though I'll stick with the official release.)

(It's not only Commodore; but sadly there's nothing from Sinclair; & the Apple collection is a little thin.)

Quoting: ValckThey were really well-written, comprehensive, educational text books, not some shoddy three "page" PDF you get these days, IF you are lucky...Not to mention the available schematics & repair manuals.
