Quoting: Kimyriellebut seeing Bethesda supporting Linux would make me hop in circles like a bunnyIronic, since the new DOOM doesn't allow bunnyhopping.

Has Bethesda sworn a blood oath, never to publish anything on Linux? Even if it's something they haven't developed, which already has the technical groundwork for a good port? I mean, we're living in an age where we have friggin' ubisoft titles on Linux; so I wouldn't rule out DOOM from the start. (Especially since all the rave reviews it's been getting touched my nostalgia nerve ... I was never a big fan since it gave me motion sickness, but back in '93 a friend and I played the shareware levels of DOOM and Wolfenstein 3D to exhaustion.)

So, the hint says 'Let's Get It Started' ... to which the fan response should of course be 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'' ... and that was on the soundtrack to VICE CITY!!!

Quoting: kon14Launching their consoles with support for otheros and whatnot basically allowed sony to pass them as "multimedia centers" or whatever and reduce their taxation.I should have suspected something like that.

I wonder why Sony initially had official support for Linux on the PS2 (link [External Link], as well as the PS3 (link [External Link], only to remove it wholly afterwards. It's not like they had Steam to worry about back then.

Though for the price, the PS4 makes a pretty impressive little PC. What are NUCs priced at? And at any rate, do they come with discrete graphics?

Quoting: Cimerydbut the software is the only reason to pay such a high price for the hardware, and if you replace the software, you've just bought an overpriced PC.Not all Macs are overpriced for what you get in terms of hardware. I believe even Linus Torvalds uses Fedora on a MacBook Air.
