Quoting: Tuxee
Quoting: pedrojmartmI have been playing War THunder. 3 hours every day, sadly it is on opengl and it runs about 30-40 fps minus than on Windows but even like that, i enjoy it. I hope Vulkan get to it really soon.
I'm also a rather frequent WT player (same nick as here), but I can't really complain. It runs flawlessly with all details maxed around 60+fps on 2560x1440 on a GTX1060.
I think it is my processor what make me have that FPS count. I have a GTX 1070 on a 25560x1080 monitor, but i have an old Intel Core i7 870 CPU :/

I play the game on Windows and Linux, but with linux i have a 30-40% performance lost. So, i hope vulkan can reduce the FPS gap between Windows and Linux version.

Quoting: seguleh@neowiz73: if I understand correctly U want all kinds of weapon on same map plus infantry combat? Man, this make WT another clone of Battlefield, but much worse. Even now I’m sick of kids playing kamikaze with their planes. In my opinion air and land battles should be separated, unfortunately they won’t be as Gaijin wants WT as „complex battlefield simulation” (where „simulation” is really joke).
man, you don't know what you're talking about. Have you ever played a simulator battle on war thunder?

Quoting: Saladienquite sad that they released something so unoptimized.
So unoptimized you say. I think is very well optimized, it is a Dx game that now runs on OpenGL.
