Quoting: BeamboomSerious Sam is even less like Duke Nukem than it is Doom. However Doom 2016 is a hell of a lot like Serious Sam.Quoting: lucifertdarkTo be honest, I don't think the two are comparable - at all. Not unless everything with a gun and a first person view is interchangeable - and they are not. Serious Sam is rather comparable with Duke Nukem. We don't need Duke with Sam. That I agree with. But Doom? Oh man, how I'd love to see that flagship on our shores.Quoting: g000hAhhh Croteam... Happy Days ahead. Serious Sam 4 will do a great job of filling the Linux "DOOM" void.Who needs DOOM when we have Serious Sam?

You suggested Steam, but it seems the Steam releases don't give you a CD Key and all of the original binaries require one. I hope the same is not true of source ports.

Square Enix published it on the various platforms other than Xbox. Also Nixxes did the porting work for non-Xbox platforms (and also the Xbox One X version). It was only a timed exclusive.

Quoting: ShmerlOnce I have the files from Steam there is no need to have an installer if the developer didn't include any DRM. I can either use Steam's backup tools or create my own archive.Quoting: MblackwellI hate to get into the weeds a bit but at a certain point it's just semantics since you could copy the files out if there's no DRM on them and back them up yourself. GOG also isn't DRM free by your logic because it requires you to have a valid account with a purchase license and to log in to their servers to download the game and any patches. You use some limited definition of DRM that doesn't include installation (why so?), also you confuse DRM with authentication i.e. an account. Both of those are wrong. Account doesn't make it DRM, but lack of installer / package that you can legally back up, does. To put it very shortly, DRM is an artificial restriction on what you can with your digital goods do after purchase. So let's make it clear, backing up something from Steam to work around their lack of DRM-free package, violates their TOS already.

Spoiler, click me
Also you have to pay for the privilege of downloading it (or anything else) in the first place because your ISP is acting as a gatekeeper between you and the internet, but that's just going down the rabbit hole a bit. Just saying.

I really don't know!
Speculation is fun though.
West Norwood is south of Central London which is where that article talks about having F1 races.
If you took the bus from Feral's offices you'd end up on the 468 for your connection. If you took the train from Derby (Core Design location) into London to get to West Norwood you would end up transferring on to the 68. West Norwood having a very large and historically significant cemetery filled with... tombs.
