Finally a positive move by the Epic storm team...

But I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have announced linux support if google didn't mention they were using it for their gaming platform.. either way its a small win for tux.

Quoting: Boldos
Quoting: aristoriasCan the app finally support HiDPI? It is a real pain to use that thing on a 4K monitor ...
Steam client can scale it's GUI on 4K currently.
It actually scales too big on my 4k screen, I only want a %25-50 scaling increase. That is whats missing, atm it seems to do a %100 enlargement and is a bit overboard...

Also what EPIC is doing is called poaching, there not making developers come there way out of goodness of their heart. They are offering up millions to go EPIC store exclusive where there was no plan to before. Poaching.

Imagine a world if everything was just vulkan... it be amazing. I always cringe when a developer goes DX12 only,.

To date I haven't even tried VR, I want my first experience to be with nothing less then Pimax 5k+ level headset which is pretty good I hear (was a bit rough at start).
Unfortunately I will need to find a spare $2k under the lounge or something first.. could be a while...

I guess now that they see google doing something with linux, their thinking is maybe shouldn't drop the ball just yet...

I'm eagerly waiting for Microsoft Windows to become a subscription service, THAT will be the day Linux shines!
Also confusing that MS is killing off windows7 (probably 8/8.1 soon also) yet also releases dx12 for windows7 at same time... shrug

I hope they are able to resolve problems with UA, I hear it was a fairly big let down on release....
