I think Valve should also release with this a wireless upgrade pack, this whole tether thing is a turnoff for VR, at least for me.
Dark sci-fi action RPG 'Hellpoint' looks good in the new trailer, still coming to Linux

Waiting for the day when Vive and Rift companies suddenly decide to go for large FOV headsets (110fov is not large, 180 is). I really don't like the idea of wearing a ski-mask, surprised so many people are content with that, it would drive me mad!

Once Star Citizen 3.5 drops I'll download it and give it a shot, see how she runs. I hear 3.5 has performance improvements worth talking about... we will see.
Can't wait for when SC gets Vulkan, that will just be amazeballs...

Valve just released a big Steam Play update with Proton now based on Wine 4.2 & more

It's possible for your proton versions to get corrupted, I had to PURGE proton entirely from my system and start again because steam was getting confused about installing it correctly and I had pre-existing broken proton files around the place.
Also proton doesn't like running directly from NTFS drives, you need to symlink compat data folder (as per wiki instructions).

The main problem I have with GOG is that some games have disabled features because the developers want a authentication method to enable them (ie NMS multiplayer). So you get a inferior product on GOG with some titles, GOG need to add that feature into Galaxy quickly and also release it for Linux/Mac users.

Quoting: NeoTheFoxThis, right here, is why I'm a Steam loyalist. GOG may be DRM free, but they sure are useless for LinuxWell you can add in any GOG game and run it via proton via the in steam shortcut system, it works for the most part but be warned it creates invalid game paths initially and you must go into the shortcut and select target again.

Some people seem to think by sniffing their own farts and acting all high and mighty by not buying anything that isn't native linux will somehow change the situation for linux gamers...I'm here to tell you, IT WON'T
Until Linux gets a PLAYER BASE of %5-10, the majority of developers will not care. So I say just play what you want, how you want, regardless of native support. If anything that will get us to that %5-10 faster and only THEN will developers start releasing more natives.
Essentially when it comes to Linux, the chicken(player) comes first. Then eventually developers (egg) will come later. No amount of soap box fart sniffing will change that!

I was going to get this until I realised it has like 100 DLC's for $204 or something, if they ever have a COMPLETE pack for sale, like 90% I'd consider it.
