The Witcher 3 is using a asinine DX11 to DX12 translation layer.
There are DLL files in "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\bin\x64_dx12" folder you can mess with in attempt to resolve problems. (someone recommends disabling dxil.dll and d3d11on12.dll for example)
Just my 2 cents, nothing tested as I don't own a SD

Isn't the Steam Deck partly made in China? seems like they should have access to it by default since that is usually how it works.
Yeah also Australia considered Oceanic, or Pacific-Oceanic to be precise (I think).
Valve really leaves this part of the world butt last even thought it wouldn't be hard to sell them here since you can rent warehouse and sell the things directly from AusPost and other companies. Nothing really blocking the sale unless stock levels are still a big problem.

I WAS going to get a reference card but decided against it. They have pretty big limits and some coil whine issues.
I'll wait until late January before thinking about a XTX again.

This may require a NVIDIA card to play since AMD/Intel ray tracing support is ULTRA experimental!

Is this a narrative on rails story shooter or a Open-World Story shooter? do you live in the world or just follow a preset line of leveled missions? Just bit confused as to what it offers other then obvious stuff.

Be nice if one day they can get full HDR support going. Guess we will need to wait for it to come to the Linux Desktop.

You can't really average your power consumption out over a day, you're power sockets NEED to be able to handle PEAK everything on period. But if you run allot of things off GAS then you can easily claim a lower electricity consumption.
Energy costs here in Australia (especially SA) are getting out of hand, gov is starting to panic (you know the guys loaded with cash who basically never need to worry about utility bills ever!).
I already pay 77cents a day (about 50c USD) just to have the house connected to the grid, if I turn everything off and die, I'd still be paying 77c a day! (GAS is a entirely different per day charge on top)
Average kwh cost is 34c btw which is reduced down from like 49c or something with some subsidies.

Quoting: ShmerlI think in a couple more GPU generations 4K will become feasible with good framerates without upscaling. It already is. Just like I said some games can't be fixed, they broke and don't perform well at higher resolutions. Even KCD runs just fine at 4k with special optimized persets on my 6800xt.. but again that is under windows, under Linux there seems to be a limit to what DXVK can do, or the drivers.

Well like I said most times its fine. 4k OLED 120hz is a game changer however. But yeah, the performance struggles with some games really can make it not worth it sometimes.
