Daggerfall Unity with mods is pretty nice. (uses some base game files)
Check out D.R.E.A.M mod and its recommended stuff (beware some mods need updating to newer DFU versions)

Valve should just release the Steam NUC which would be just a Steam Deck without the Battery/controller/LCD components and sell it for like $100-150 cheaper... it would create riots in the NUC community which are typically more expensive devices with less power....

Except Rolling Release does not mean bleeding edge. There are AUR and git/dev repositories normally for that sort of thing, or testing/unstable branches.

This is one of those games that could have HUGELY benefited from a more open-world setting instead of the micro level challenges it has now. On top of that more martial combat styles with melee weapon combat styles on top.

I played about 10 levels into the main story a couple times but kind of forgot about it. Certainly had potential but felt too much like a arcade level challenge type of game more so then a continuous interesting story/world. Also I think it was like 30GB or something which seemed pretty extreme for such a basic game.
