It looks so cool but every time I play it, the performance is too much of a problem. I don't get it? Is it running smoothly for some folks?

Unlucky me, there have been bugs: discover crashing and wayland not working anymore.
I've used KDE since KDE 3, and it's the best for desktop tinkerers. It really is amazing. And yes it has more bugs than other DEs, but you can create a workflow that suits you perfectly, something you can't do in other DEs (easily).

It looks cool, and it might be good for smaller devices, but it looks super limited.
I have always been a KDE user, despite its problems. Lots of new DEs seem to pop up to resolve those issues, but with Plasma improving their weak spots (bugs and consistency) I don't know if we really need yet another DE. The panel just looks like a stripped down version of Latte dock. Nobody wants to climb onto a big project with a bunch of legacy code and hard problems. Everyone just wants to make a shiny new thing that "wont have bugs". I don't mean to diminish the project. I think it's really cool. It just looks like every other day there is a new DE, and I don't know if we really need more of those.

It could be cool if there was a city builder that wasn't 90% about traffic management.
Most of the work in Cities Skylines has to do with traffic. You can build a large police station and not worry about crime for most of the game, but you will be obsessing about intersections, one ways, subway routes, bus routes pedestrian walk ways, bridges, tunnels and train tracks for a lot of the time.
Not that this isn't fun. It really is. I love it. I just wish there were options to focus on other things.

Well, it could have been cool maybe if...
You could build a music studio in your city, and add a fame walk pavement that gets stamped with your platinum musicians, maybe a musical institute that increases the number of musicians in your city, policies like "city funded buskers" and "music scholarships". It would be cool to see the little buskers on the sidewalks of the city.
Increased tourism if your city succeeds at becoming a cultural hub, which by the way should be a new milestone you can reach if your city makes 100 platinum records, and then you can build a rock and roll museum or something. Lots of fun things you can do with this!
