Sounds pretty interesting. The graphic style tells me it won't be too heavy of a game, but I'm still curious.

This sounds cool. I will watch out for the release. I think one of the kiddies will like this.

It's already possible to play Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Linux with Steam Play

Quoting: anodraeusnot to sound like a complete noob, but I don't have a /.steam/compatibilitytools.d/ folder/file, so I have no idea how to use this work around on manjaro
Example:
mkdir ~/.steam/root/compatibilitytools.d
wget https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/archive/4.21-GE-1-MCC.tar.gz
tar -xf 4.21-GE-1-MCC.tar.gz -C ~/.steam/root/compatibilitytools.d/

Quoting: XpanderI only played the first one on PC back in the days and it looked outdated even then and controls were slow and unresponsive, story seemed to be nonexistent and it was really not fun to play.
I loved Halo: Combat Evolved! Of course, I played it on Xbox. I beat that game multiple times, including solo on Legendary difficulty. I'd say that was my hardest game challenge I had gotten through back then. When the PC version came out, I tried it out and didn't like it.

I think I've beaten every Halo game in the collection, perhaps not ODST although I did play some of it. The last Xbox I owned was the 360, which has been gone for like 10 years now. Thankfully, some of my friends still buy Xboxes so I can play the one game I care about. :D

Seeing this Master Chief Collection come to Steam certainly did make me consider getting it if it worked via Proton. There are pretty much zero FPS campaigns worth playing on Linux, so this is kinda tempting... still undecided since I have already played them all.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition continues advancing, cross-play with consoles now up

Quoting: slaapliedjeYeah, so here's hoping it gets it. Kind of want to start up a server again and get a group together to play through some modules.
I tried doing that in Docker long ago and I couldn't get the main campaign to work. Perhaps that's by design...? I was trying to use assets from my Steam game folder.

Quoting: slaapliedjeAny news on if/when PS4 will get cross platform play?
I guess that largely depends on Sony...
Sony have kind of been jerks about that, though I think DC Universe by them is one of the few truly cross platform games. But I know there have been others which should have been cross platform, but were not on Sony Systems.
It's definitely not all games. I remember playing against PSN players in Rocket League WAY back while I was on PC.

Geneshift Battle Royale just got a lot prettier with a big update, also on sale right now

If everyone that dies comes back with full firepower, then doesn't the Battle Royale mode just feel like death match?

RetroArch is getting hardware video decoding, manual content scanning and more

I should give it a shot on my Pi since Steam Link doesn't work well enough over my WiFi. There is a network delay every 30 seconds... feels like something I should be able to adjust but haven't figured out what. Other than that, the WiFi actually is OK with Steam Link on the Pi. So, using the Pi for local-only content might be my next thing to play with.

Ha. My username is supposed to be (and used to be) 014, but it was converted by some website DB process I'm guessing. My avatar is a 0, 1, and 4 all in one.
