I hope they can make a good game. Action RPG in historical Middle-East could feel pretty fresh.

A developer from Bohemia Interactive wants to know your interest in the Arma 3 Linux port

Quoting: Guest... Although I dislike the way developers always want to make the Linux community beg for titles. But at least they're showing interest, have to give them that.
My best guess is there is one person that is trying to convince the business to upgrade Linux support. The best way to do that is to prove that it's not charity work.

I just bought the bundle using the referral link. YOU'RE WELCOME! :P I really only wanted F1 2017; it was easily worth the $12!

You can get Rise of the Tomb Raider in the current Humble Monthly

Unfortunately, I will pause the September month. I already own Rise of the Tomb Raider and the other three front-runners don't run on my OS. Humble Monthly is pretty cool sometimes.

My Windowz buddies are kind enough to install the legacyports version so we can all play together. The Linux port is important to me to keep alive at minimum. It would be nice to have the port version in sync with the main version more often (or all the time) to increase the player base.

Facepunch are no longer selling the Linux version of the survival game Rust (updated)

I'm definitely keenly interested to see what is going to happen to existing Linux customers. Will the next patch be Windows exclusive and therefore break Linux clients from playing together because servers are incompatible? We simply don't know.

Snap! The new Minecraft launcher now has another easy way to be installed on Linux

Maybe I should tinker and get snaps on my kids' Elementary machines. It was a bit annoying setting up Minecraft and shortcuts. It made me want to wipe the OS and replace it with an Arch-based OS so that I had access to the AUR. *sigh*

Thoughts on the Corsair STRAFE RGB Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Silent Switches
23 Jul 2018 at 6:37 pm UTC

I've been thinking about the STRAFE for work for a while. I have a Rosewill with MX Brown switches at work and the keyboard gets stuck keys often. It's a software/driver problem because the keys do not get physically stuck. Also, the problem occurs on random keys. Furthermore, two of my co-workers with the same keyboard have the same problem. So yeah, I've been thinking about replacing it with a better one, but I feel guilty asking my employer to buy another $100 keyboard.

My home keyboard is a Corsair K65 RGB with Cherry MX Red. I've had it a couple years now and I still dig it.

One of my daughters is using a "spare" Dell branded keyboard just to make the machine usable. I got a free tower from work and hooked up spare peripherals to it so she could have a computer. Well, her keyboard annoys me pretty bad every time I have to tweak stuff on her computer! It's got to be the worst keyboard I've ever felt. I want to get her a mechanical someday when I feel like spending that much. :P The Corsair K63 is what I have in mind.
