I'm really glad to see a very pro-Linux manufacturer come out with a cool, mechanical keyboard. But I thought I was splurging when I spent $160 on my keyboard. Add another $100 on top of that? Oooouuch, man. Too hard to swallow for someone who already has a 10-keyless, mechanical, RGB LED backlit keyboard.
The Moonlander is sexy and has had my eye for a while. It offers something very different from what I have, which is why I still consider it from time to time despite the steep price.
A lot of folks are commenting about 10-keyless. Mine is like that and I picked it that way on purpose. However, I am thinking about buying a standalone 10-key that I can set nearby. I like my mouse hand to be closer to its place on the home row, and removing the 10-key allows my mouse pad to be closer. But I'm beginning to learn about game development tools like Unity 3D, Godot, and Blender. It would be nice to use the 10-key for built-in shortcuts instead of having to come up with new ones when there are so many! Also, Arma 3 uses 10-key shortcuts as well.

Humble Bundle replacing purchase sliders with less generous options

Quoting: ProtektorTrue, however many PC games are not available on Amazon. And I don't like buying eBooks from them either because of the DRM. Aaaand, Amazon Smile only donates 0.5% of eligible purchases. Overall, I don't see this as comparable to Humble.Quoting: 14The slider change kinda sucks, but who else is doing what they're doing? Don't boycott. What for, anyway? Then we have zero places like them.Amazon has offered for a long time the option to use their Smile program so everything you buy from Amazon, a percentage of it goes to the charity of your choice. So Humble Bundle isn't the only one doing this. Also with Amazon Smile it isn't some things, it is everything you buy from Amazon earns a percentage for the charity.
That said, my game buying is lower than it was years ago. And their bundles are often weak on native Linux support. So, I find myself also buying more eBooks from Humble lately than games like mirv.

Quoting: CyrilI didn't buy anything on Humble for a long time, and I'm pretty sure I won't in the future. The slider change kinda sucks, but who else is doing what they're doing? Don't boycott. What for, anyway? Then we have zero places like them.
I hope a lot of people will simply boycott them...
And
Today we’re sharing some updates coming to bundle pages and how they will help us continue to support charity.Yeah, sure!

TBH, I don't know much about Wayland. But I am still happy to see Ubuntu switching to it because I like new things and it will likely speed up development.

Quoting: KillYourFM"Forza Horizon 4 is playable."I'm almost there with you, except I'll wait for a released version of mesa to trickle to my computer in my normal upgrade routines. I messed with mesa-git for Cyberpunk 2077 'cause I was so excited. And I did get it all to work. But I'm not gonna go through all that again every time.
SOLD.
