Quoting: BlackBloodRumHmm? While I think it's good to have beneficial defaults was there anything on ubuntu stopping users adjusting this themselves?

I'm just not sure what the big deal is as in my mind this one is just one of those "Oh, that's the issue? Okay, tweak that, done."
I don't use an operating system so I can tweak it.

Back in the day with Fedora and Mandrake I had to mess with stuff all the time to get stuff to work. I hated it. I persevered for political reasons and because Windows sucked pretty hard in its own ways, but it was not my scene. I use an OS for it to work, so I can do things on it without worrying about it. Nowadays I hardly ever have to tweak the OS, and if I do have to I consider it a signal that I should think about switching to something that works.
We are very different people.

Quoting: legluondunetSteam has a similar service with Geforce Now, but you do not have access to all your games, it depend on devs authorizations.
Soon we will no more need a gaming console, nor install or tweak them, to play games on Linux, we will just need a good internet connection. And we will no more need to buy expensive graphic card, with Geforce Now you can play on your TV in 4K/60fps/RayTracing if you have a good internet connection.
Before that, we need all these streaming services to stop screwing with Linux giving us a lower resolution.
It's probably all Linux can handle, everyone knows Linux can't do games or real work stuff. It's just for geeks who live in mums basement, it's not a real OS.

Spoiler, click me
I am obviously joking!

Yuzu agrees to pay Nintendo $2.4 million and will entirely shut down (Citra for 3DS too)

Quoting: pleasereadthemanualThe most up-to-date source for Yuzu is this redistributor of early-access builds: https://github.com/pineappleEA/pineapple-src [External Link]

Apparently Yuzu got upset with them at some point for redistributing their early-access builds, which were only accessible to Patrons. But redistributing it is legal under the GPL. This existed primarily because Yuzu did not provide Linux installers/launchers for Yuzu.

I would suggest that a lot of us are missing context, and I'll refrain from making any further comments until I know more.
Cloned.

Install while you can

flatpak --user install org.citra_emu.citra org.yuzu_emu.yuzu
There's also this:

Screw you Nintendo, you suck.

What's sad is, other projects are so quick to fall in line and do Nintendo's bidding, for example emudeck has already removed it from peoples devices, despite the emulator still being on flathub (for now).
