Finally...

"Once sales start dying and a minimum time has passed, I will release the game source code as some kind of open source. I'm not very happy with the draconian nature of (L)GPL, nor do I believe the other licenses have much merit other than to boost the egos of the original authors, so I might just possibly release it all as public domain. Sword-fighter 'Blade Symphony' is now officially on Linux, free to try for a few days with a big sale (updated!)

It's nice to see it on Linux. I bought and tried it, but this game is totally weird; the action there bears no resemblance to any kind of sword-fighting.

If you want some kind of good-looking tactical beat-em-up, it's probably for you, if you want something that's really about sword-fighting, don't.

Disclaimer: I do H.E.M.A, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_European_martial_arts [External Link] Long sword mainly.

GOG have added a bunch of Hidden Object puzzle games from Artifex Mundi

You can see that they come from the initial genre of hidden object puzzle, but actually, most of them do feel much more like adventures. They have a coherent plot, and the puzzles usually make sense within that plot.

Wasn't hard at all. I just managed to find the time (or rather: liked to do just that instead of something else) to play "Life is Strange". I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. Oh boy.

I'm looking forward to "Life is Strange 2" anyway; will buy as it comes available for Linux (and ideally all episodes at once).

Minecraft 'Update Aquatic' is a huge update which brings the new launcher officially to Linux

Quoting: GuppyIt's a git repository, you compile it and run it..
Alright. Tell me which one, and tell me how. I cloned several, and they bork on missing (local!) dependencies upon make. the cmake stage still works.

Notch even contemplated (actually, more like promised) to make it open source. And yes, it's been officially available for Linux much longer than any Android/iOS and whatever -versions.

Quoting: GuppyI guess that's not bedrock edition running on my Ubuntu desktop then, clearly you know better -.-'
I still don't see anything like this in the links you posted.

Quoting: GuppyPersonally I prefer bedrock for two reasons;

1) Bugs are concidered bugs, they aren't kept ingame just because some whiney youtuber has built his channel around the bug.
2) It's available on so many platforms, and yes that includes Linux even if unofficially ( Old: https://github.com/MCMrARM/mcpelauncher-linux [External Link] , rewrite: https://github.com/minecraft-linux [External Link] )
No. It's only the Launcher. The bedrock-version does NOT run on Linux.

There's a rule regarding software projects: First show me the code.

Unless that's there, it does not exist. Because 90% of software projects fail. Of course, most of these projects you won't hear about because they're internal projects of some company or other. But that's where you learn: First show me the code.
