This series would have made for a great read in one of those defunct pc gaming paper magazines.

I've never been a fan of the total war series up until I tried warhammer 2 and got hooked. Still playing it to this day. It's a huge time sink but they really get fantasy right.

It's the only game that catches the scale and feeling of the lotr movie battles.

The dlc cash grab is a bit off-putting but it's easy to look the other way since it's a quality product.

Hoping more warhammer 2 dlcs will go on sale in a mega complete bundle or something.

Love the game. And I was skeptical about it at first but I gave it a chance and I liked it.

It's one of those things that just get better with time and the more you play it the more fun things you can do.

It's certainly not for those that just want a Freelancer clone.

I don't want to ruin people's enthusiasm, but making a puzzle game that requires real programming skills to play is a niche product. A very niche product.

I get it. It was a passion project. But those rarely sell unless you're passionate about mainstream topics.

Tropico 5 was and still is awesome. The series is a great way to teach kids about politics and all of the sneaky things that come with it. I got Tropico 5 on Steam because it's drm free and it has a Linux build. Will buy Tropico 6 on gog again just to get the drm linux build.

Get it if you want a modern, tongue in cheek politics simulator where you can be any type of ruler from benevolent to dictatorial. It's a great indirect way to learn how the world works.

If "clicking export" in a game engine is all the Linux support they provide then it's no wonder that they're so grumpy about the whole thing. When you treat your customers like second class citizens you should expect backlash. Being surprised about it and blaming the platform you're "exporting" to means that you have the social skills of a preschooler.

It seems like a cool concept on paper but it will probably end up generating easily recognizable models across games. Similar to how many people know and avoid using the clipart collection from microsoft word.
