Tomb Raider - Legacy of Atlantis looks like a return to the good old LAU (Legend, Anniversary, Underworld) trilogy, which still are my favorite titles of the series.
I'm still to finish Diablo IV as it didn't click with me the way I hoped (and having to rebuy on Steam therefore waiting for a good deal) but having Mephisto mob influencers and streamers is delightful. Blizzard cinematics still rock.
And getting a new game from Frictional never hurts - Ontos looks really promising.

I'm playing Assassin's Creed Origins and Tales of Berseria on Deck and Desktop and bought Wayfinder [External Link] in the current sale plannign to play it with my son.
Although I should know after playing lots of games on it I'm still impressed how good AC Origins looks and plays on the Deck.

I'm still mad at Ubisoft for the loss of my Assassin's Creed DLC's (by shutting down the servers).
On the other hand I like how Crystal Dynamics handled the end of life of (the service game) Marvel's Avengers by releasing a definitive edition containing all service content. That was my reason to buy it after avoiding it for some time as I'm no fan of service games. In an ideal world this would be the version to be sold for all eternity but somehow licenses happened or something.
I expected Ubisoft to also release a final patch removing the server connection and giving all DLC content but unfortunately they just didn't care about their own games.

Fanatical seems to have an interesting ebook offer for learning Godot Engine. Part of the International Day of the Programmer 2023 Free Giveaway [External Link] is the book 'Game Development with Blender and Godot'.
It's about one year old therefore not using the newest Godot Engine but I hope it's still applicable.

Quoting: BigJAdditionally Proton / Wine is really good in preserving games. Sometimes older games that used to run on Linux got some serious issues over time (maybe just ported once then forgotten, maybe ported / developed requiring libs no longer used). Often Proton / Wine is an easy alternative to get them running again (last used by myself with The Last Door Season 1). Of course this is an argument for using free engines / runtimes but most publishers think otherwise.Quoting: GuestTo be honest I don't get the point of including Windows games that run via ProtonI can see a few sides to this debate. Personally, I think the more games that run on Linux, Proton or not, the more Linux gamers there will be, and the more worth it it will be for devs to support native Linux. A virtuous circle of sorts.

Personally I'd love to get Child of Light on Linux, even if that means installing uPlay. Assassins's Creed would be nice as well.
