Quoting: elmapulDirectx 9 isn't a moving target. The wine team can only do so much... okay Mr.?Quoting: Duckeeniewait, DirectX9 being a moving target i can understand, but MS keeps developing Dx9 after start developing Dx10, 11, 12?Quoting: liamdaweDirectX 9 isn't a moving target though. But of course it's understandable that one can only do so much with limited resources. We should be grateful for what we haveQuoting: elmapulso, the D3D9/DirectX9 still dont run flawlessly ? dammit that is sad =\Wine will likely never get finished. Windows is a moving target for them.
Even when an implementation might be classed as complete, there will likely still be work that can be done to improve it.

Quoting: finaldestNice to see Linux continuing to pick up more users. I did make a prediction that Linux would reach 5% by the end of this year. Hopefully.I have a crystal ball that can make more accurate predictions than that. :)

Quoting: liamdaweI didn't know that actually. Did wonder why they didn't mention Linux, I just figured it was an oversight.Quoting: DuckeenieOn Bundlestars, Warhammer is less than half the Steam price at £11.99.For anyone who doesn't know, Bundle Stars do not stock keys that allow Feral Interactive (the porter) to get paid, hence the Windows only icon there. The rest of Bundle Stars is good.

Not a fan of the art style, looks more like the sims on mars than my vision of a city builder. Bold child like colours don't portray the sense of danger that one ought to feel in a game about colonising an alien planet.

Quoting: SolitarySteam is not your friend. Just because they decide they want to milk Linux users as well does not make them Linux-friendly. It simply makes them indiscriminate vultures.Of course Steam is a company like any other that is driven by profit, but don't forget that Linux gaming was practically non existent without them. Also vulture is an unfair analogy because they don't give anything other than crap in return for what the take.
Steam now has over 3,500 games for Linux, with GOG having over 700

Quoting: wolfyrionThe biggest surprise that I had with GOG is when I discovered that is a Cypriot based company :DThat came as a surprise to me. I thought they were based in eastern Europe.
(I was like no way!!! but then I understood the reasons like all other foreign companies that have a company in my country)
