Am I the only one to think that even AMD's new cards are better than Nvidia's on power consumption, 300/355 TDP is still crazy high?

With climate change creeping up on us, current international political affairs affecting prices and availability of energy, and the market saying yes to devices like the Switch and the Deck, perhaps it's about time to demand these companies to release things more align with what the world needs.

We need to use much less energy. Not the same, and definitely not more.

Nextcloud is cool, but for people with scarce time, or zero knowledge, or too lazy, etc, they should offer a subscription as a service model (similar to what thegood.cloud does, but with full on functionality for emails, photo AI for organising them, etc). Otherwise, their market share will be still in the niche.

Oh, and instead of releasing their own social network, or their chat, it would be much better for resources and overall usage to implement things like Matrix and Mastodon directly.

EDIT: I see the latter has been done with Mastodon... sort of... with ActivityPub.

My take is that remaking 2 and 3 on Unreal 5 will depend on how successful this first one is. As to beating one after the other, keeping the progress, that's already possible. In 2 you can import saves from 1st, and in 3 from 2nd.

It'd be very cool if in the steam shop where one can buy wallpapers, etc, there would be a section for boot videos too. Integrated with the system, so we don't need to go into desktop mode to do it.

Already mentioned this on other occasions, but I do spend less money outside of sales. I also end up playing those games I paid full price for more too.
