Woke up with an email from Steam about 18 games of my wish list being on sale... I really want to get some of them but after buying Luigi's Mansion 3, backing a couple of projects in Kickstarter and the new Pokémon coming out soon it might be too much of a stretch for this month.

Quoting: namikoI don't know why you cut half of Tets comment. My post was because Tets was comparing ants with "Chinese" (Chinese what? Food, language, people...?), which is pretty racist anyway.Quoting: Arehandoro*facepalm* Can someone mention a well-known criminal society and implicate a (for all intents and purposes) totalitarian country and not be castigated for saying that their systems are not good and remind him of how corrupted some governments or organizations go?Quoting: Tetsgovernment is like mafia. Probably worse, mafia takes your money and then leaves you alone (mostly). Government takes your money and with it tells you what you can (and can't!) do, how to behave, what to do with your life... I'm a human, not an ant or Chinese.I can't believe how in one comment someone can show so much ignorance and racism. Reported, by the way.
All italians are not affiliated with the mafia. All chinese citizens are not their government.

Quoting: TetsI can't believe how in one comment someone can show so much ignorance and racism. Reported, by the way.Quoting: Liam DaweSo, because some are irresponsible, we all need to be supervised? Sorry, no. I like my freedom (even to do stupid things). It's my life and my money. And I don't even like games with microtransactions, loot boxes, ...Quoting: fagnerlnYou are so incredibly naive and narrow minded, I'm genuinely amazed.Quoting: EikeThe adult is responsible for the children, not the government, is that hard to get?Quoting: fagnerlnAh, and talking about drugs, I bet that mostly of you in the comments support the "free drugs" movement. "People are free to use any drug they want, because they 'own' yourselves, but gambling, nah, please government, save them", ironicIronically, you pointed at the difference between adults and kids yourself in the very same posting...
I known a boy that used their father's credit card, ONCE. The father explained to him that this is a bad thing. Maybe if the father spent some time with the kid, maybe this didn't happened the first time.
I've seen first-hand how gambling can ruin an adult's life, just as much as a child.
And yeah, government is like mafia. Probably worse, mafia takes your money and then leaves you alone (mostly). Government takes your money and with it tells you what you can (and can't!) do, how to behave, what to do with your life... I'm a human, not an ant or Chinese. I grew up in socialism and the West is going that way right now with all this bullshit. Sad.
Sorry for that, I'll try to refrain from politics, it's a website about games.

Quoting: EikeThis is not what the creator told me on reddit, they confirmed a Linux version with no mention of stretch goals or delays, so I might cancel my support which I backed it at the old boxed edition. As for Linux support, it's going to be a platform for release. However, Linux support might not be released on the same day as the Windows version as it all depends on how much funding they get (stretch goals were mentioned) when the campaign is over and they're quite clear on that.I found this quite unclear, to be honest...:
Our aim is to release the game on Windows and, shortly after, on Switch, Xbox One, and PS4. There are plans for both Mac and Linux, plus mobile support for Android and iOS, but this is dependent on stretch goals and will take more time.

Started Pine on Friday and have put in more than 6 hours already, which isn't normal for me. Struggled the first 4 with combat, damn guards in the villages, and trying to find stuff to do. Finally, got to the first vault and loving it. The story slowly seems to unravel, leaving an effect of a fable that I quite like.

My idea was getting a Librem 13 as my new laptop, not any time soon anyway, but if System 76 starts implementing coreboot perhaps that is a better option.
