AMD reveal details on Ryzen 9 3950X and Radeon RX 5700 at E3

Shit, I'm hyped! Those prices and potential performance has definitely left a mark on me. Will see if i nthe UK prices aren't too inflated and maybe I can upgrade the GPU. Although with the amount of crazy games released on 2020, I'm looking at Keanu Reeves and FF7 here, not sure if it's better wait for that and get something better or with a better price down the line.

Happy to see AMD still embracing open-source and that they are doing well, hopefully sales go along too.

Yomi No Kuni, an Anime/Samurai RPG that's in development will be coming to Linux

They could at least have removed the "Press enter to start" from the video xD

I like the setting, the aesthetics and the genre. Happy to have keep an eye on the Kickstarter campaign or the development in general.

Edit: After seeing the website, I'm not that sure anymore. The wording, and overall website, seems very amateur, they are influenced by "Witcher" for instance, the art doesn't look so manga/anime like either, etc. Hopefully it's just the first steps in development and things do get much better.

Double Fine Productions acquired by Microsoft for Xbox Game Studios, Psychonauts 2 still for Linux

As much as I like Tim Schafer, or his studio, we can't deny that he is a bit of a Judas and would sell his soul to the highest bidder without contemplation whatsoever. Which actually he just did to Microsoft so it shouldn't surprise me, yet still annoying.

I guess Psychonauts 2 will be the last game I buy from them.

Or you meant if Google stops supporting Stadia? Well... Just like in the old days, when a PS, PS2 broke down and you couldn't buy an new one. Game Library gone. The PC gamers are lucky, in that aspect.
In that regard it would not be much different than if Valve stops supporting Steam. Aside of the games that can be played outside of the client, all the rest would be just digital garbage.

The announcement of Baldur's Gate 3 made me think I could give Stadia a go and try it out. Now that I know it will be released on Steam, and potentially GOG, I rather wait and get it via normal means.

Edit: Narrative RPG based on "Vampire: The Masquerade"
I thought these two were the same one... but I guess we'll see. I won't mind another. :)
Kind of irritating that the devs/pubs refuse to share any details as to what kind of games these are. Some sort of interactive novels seems to be the general impression at the moment, a Telltale Games-esque experience perhaps?
I also thought that but Coteries of New York is being developed/published by Draw Distance whereas The Masquerade is being made by Big Bad Wolf, which confused me a bit haha. The more the merrier, I suppose.

Quoting: dpanterIt also appears that BigBadWolf/BigBen is working on yet another title set in the World Of Darkness, namely Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood intended for 2020 release. What the frick is going on here! :woot:
Yay!

Quoting: monnefInteresting device, for my taste way too pricey. For a while I was thinking about GDWin (or how it was called), but IIRC it didn't have official Linux support, so I stopped following it. I am saving for Index currently and since I don't go out much, Index will have much better value for me.

Quoting: Arehandoro...Switch, which partly is also being fund with software sales
I don't believe this is true:

Nintendo CEO says company won't make loss by selling it; but also listening to what consumers expect from us when setting price.

I am also pretty sure they said that even with some planned discount (Christmas?) they still won't be losing money on the device.
Apologies, that was some poor wording on my side. What I meant is not that they are selling the console on a loss, but that their main revenue are the games. Something that the Smach Z can't do.
