Load time was huge, performance was terrible, and visual glitches very present (you were basically blind whenever it rained, and all the time in some areas).

Despite that, I loved the single player gameplay and spent quite a few hours in it. It's a shame the problems were never fixed. Given that, I will certainly not care for a pvp spin-off.

Quoting: ElectricPrismWhat do people love about sunless sea so much anyways? Seems slow and riven/mistish mixed with a dialog adventure - am i missing something.
If you like reading, it's lovely because the writing is really good. The universe is really weird and unusual too, so that makes for a great atmosphere if you get into it. From a pure mechanical gameplay point of view though, it's not amazing in my opinion.

Anyone found a way to either filter our wishlist view by OS, or at least display the OS icon on the items ? (I'm using the wishlist as a radar for interesting games, waiting for them to either be on sale or come out on linux).

Quoting: sakurazukaOnly way to run TLJ on linux I found was by using VirtualBox with Windows 98SE and emulated open GL (there are tutorials). It's not working on Wine.
Is there any way to get a win98 install CD (or other image) legally ?

Quoting: SpeedsterThe GOG installer should be much better, since playonlinux says it is supported
Unfortunately, from what I read on winehq but also what's on that thread you link, I don't think the game is quite playable yet.
