Quoting: peta77Or you want the games, pay "sales prices" for them and support some charity organizations with a bundle!

Because that's what these are about. If you're just looking for the cheapest prices, you're not the targeted audience.
Whilst I understand the point being made, some of us are on a very limited household budget through no choice of our own. Freebies keep the gaming going whilst times are difficult.

Scan UK to offer SSD upgrades compatible with Steam Deck

Over the years I've bought quite a lot of stuff from Scan and have never had any complaints.

One company I would buy from back in the early 2000s was Dabs. They used to have a small warehouse just outside Woking and not far from where I used to live. My mates and I would sometimes wander down there if we needed parts.

When BT took over Dabs, my local branch closed (as did many others) and the service declined.

Just finished the demo. It's bloomin' excellent and is certainly a wishlist priority, especially as I never played the original though I remember watching my brother enjoying it at the time

Gave this a spin last night and rather enjoyed it. The combat is simple and the puzzles are not too challenging, plus the characters are interesting. Good stuff

"Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-Tamper
5 different PC within a day machine activation limit"

Whilst this game looks good, I am always turned off by the above statements. If you are rebuilding your PC or testing out some new kit, you can easily fall foul of this.
Hopefully, in a year or two the DRM will be removed and then I might consider it!

Steam Next Fest - February 2023 edition brings lots of demos

Quoting: whizseLinux native and Deck-ready.
Yes, they don't advertise the Linux build of Coven on the Store Page but it's there and a blast to play! The game is a little too dark by default so I push the brightness slider all the way up, but aside from that I'm enjoying hacking the bad guys and eating corpses.

Looking forward to the full release

Just seen the price. Clearly the cost of living crisis doesn't bother everyone :-)
