First Epic releases a Linux client of UE5, now they support O3DE. Valve's push with SteamDeck and SteamOS clearly got some execs in the industry thinking. And that's a good thing. But I still don't trust Epic...

I actually do like Budgie very much so good to here they still do work on it after the departure of Josh. But for me it is still unusable, because you cannot add a second panel on the second monitor. There is a years-long issue on Github for this, but still this feature is not on the horizon. So I will stay with KDE until this gets fixed.

This is an excellent idea. I think I can reproduce like 3 or 4 of the reported issues on my system (kickoff hotkey loss e.g.), or black screen after re-login. Most of them are small things that are very upsetting cause they nearly happen on a daily basis.
Linux needs to be pre-installed on more hardware to hit mainstream

Ahh, this whole topic is pointless in my humble opinion. I love and daily use Linux, I know how to use it, and that's about it. I don't need "The Linux Desktop" to succeed, it already succeeded for me, I can do all I want with my Linux machine (gaming, programming, Netflix & chill).

Ah thanks for the reminder. I did switch to Void Linux in the last month, and had totally forgotten to update the info here :D
EDIT: Hey Liam, why is there no dedicated CPU model although it is present in the stats page like for GPU model? I plan on upgrading my system and this would be a nice input.
